Correct. Former room mate ko kumukuha ulit ng BSN niya para maging officer sa US Navy.
A BSN from RP will allow you to sit for the NCLEX and pursue post grad studies in US universities.
Update pala on requirements dito sa schools in Phil. Some schools accept Grad students WITHOUT experience. I am in UERMMC. Some of my classmates have no nursing experience, some unemployed, a few of them call center agents. I cant blame the inexperienced students since wala naman talagang mapusakan ang mga RN natin dito. Very sad. Business na ang priority ng schools dito.
Correct!!! business na ang mga schools dito...except for one...San Juan de Dios...uso pa rin ang tanggalan...and they don't care kung mabawasan sila ng mga students...they are after the quality of the nurses they will produce...
I am taking my MA in St. Paul University Manila...same status ang mga classmates ko mga newly grad...grabe din ang requirements...parang college student pa rin ako sa dami ng requirements weekly na para bang wala trabaho yung iba sa amin...that's why i stop...priority ko muna work ko kasi wala na kong pang enroll...![]()
UST Graduate School MAN Requirements:
1. BSN degree with atleast 2.0/85% average
2. TOR
3. Board Certificate
4. 2 Recommendation Letter
May 2 pre-requisite subjects:
1. St. Thomas on Critical Thinking
2. Research Methodology
Im a nurse sa NY taking up MAN dito sa manila. Wala na pong demand sa USA na need pa nila to import nurses outside. Sa mga taong nagsasabi na meron pang demand, its either agency sila na gusto mag extort ng money or schools na business minded who continue to accept high number of nurse enrollees. They are all OPPORTUNISTS!!!
I graduated 1989 and left for NY 1990. IT was a different time then. In the mid-90's, the USA abolished the H1-A Visa for nurses kasi the demands were already MET. During my time, students take nursing because they really want nursing and not a stepping stone to migrate.
