Lol! That's an insult to my compact P&S :-)
Here's an article about how I get to maximize the features of my camera: Seeing & knowing when to see

^ Hi idol!
God, I love your photos. How do you like our shots?
Thanks!!
Among the pics that you have posted, I think the best one is that pica-pica pic. I like the concept of the photo 'the difference between heaven & hell' but there are over-exposed parts on the 'heaven' side.
I like the photos of misternmisis too, nicely composed shots.
Thanks, idol!
But uh, the said overexposure is actually part of the "heaven" effect.![]()
When I noticed it I knew I had to capture it on cam quick.

^hahaha! I thought it was just the angel. It was that light pala.

Listen to constructive criticisms
Tip from from M. Plonsky: Get used to deleting most of the shots you take. As you gain skill, the hit rate goes up a bit (sometimes)- I find this very helpful, that way you won't settle for shots that are "pwede na" you will always strive to get the best possible shot.
Maximize the features of your camera- don't be afraid to change settings, just experiment. No harm in trying, libre naman eh :-)
If you like macro photography (like me), get really close to the subject- even if it may stingyeah everything has a price
@bananaQ- I love that squirrel pic!
somuchmore: how did you get that effect on your leaf shot?
and what camera were you using?
Actually it's the ugly things around my subjects that give me rashes eh, like stinging nettles and some mosquitoes especially in late afternoon.
About your leaf photo mas okay if you will focus on one droplet only. Sometimes it's tsambahan especially if you are using auto mode. Try to use manual focusing, it's quite tricky but the results are usually better.
