Kung totoo man na big man yan at talagang magaling, sana naman hindi na yan masulot ng mga ibang school sa ubelt habang residency period niya

Yung Fil-Canadian, if I'm not mistaken, naasar daw dahil partial scholarship lang nakuha niya since Team B lang siya.

I read in another forum that Chris Cantonjos is training with our big men. Tiyaga lang kailangan, matututo din yan. 3 years naman maglalaro si Tinte.

  2. #2082
@almost_here Ha! Ha! Magaling DAW kasi siya.

Chris Cantonjos is the assistant coach of the UST Tiger Cubs, so yes, Tinte has some hope.

  7. #2087
    na ano po?

  8. #2088
lol. got what you mean. grabe no, ipagpapalit ang UST education for rabies? masisira utak mo nyan. lol.

It's useless to cry over spilled milk. Let's just hope that the guys who will don the gold and black will make us forget about that guy

  10. #2090

^Well, kung ganon talaga, he doesn't deserve a slot in the seniors.

Bahala siya, we don't need him. We can make do with hat we have.

  12. #2092

Eh doon, ano kababagsakan niya? Salesman? Ha! Ha! Joke lang

UST singers wow audiences in Spain anew

For the second time in three years, the multi-awarded University of Santo Tomas (UST) Singers choir wowed audiences in Barcelona, Spain, with another successful concert.

Citing a report from the Philippine Embassy, the Department of Foreign Affairs said the concert was held last May 15 at the Auditori de L’Orfeó Gracienc.

“As in all their concerts in Spain, the choir wowed Spanish and Filipinos alike with their magnificent renditions of an eclectic repertoire, encompassing sacred songs, Filipino folk and popular songs, folk songs from various other nations including Spain and Cuba, as well as Broadway hits," the DFA said.

The UST choir is in Spain as part of its latest European tour, in which they will participate in six international choral competitions in such places as Spain, the United Kingdom and Poland.

“In the last 15 years, the UST Singers have won over 45 international prizes, including the award of ‘Best Choir in the World’ at the 2001 World Choral Festival in Puebla, Mexico and the Grand Prize at the 149th Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales, United Kingdom in 1995," the DFA said.

After the concert, officials and staff from the Consulate General spoke with and congratulated the choir members and their director Prof. Fidel Calalang Jr.

Calalang said that after their stop in Barcelona, the choir would perform in Madrid, then proceed to Poland and then back to Spain for choral completions.

Consulate General officials assured the choir that they have already earned the highest acclaim and regard of the Filipino people for their well-earned success through the years.

Consul General Eduardo de Vega also hailed the appearance of the choir in Spain at this time.

He said the choir’s acclaimed performances of Philippine music was an excellent manner of promoting Philippine culture before European audiences as the Philippines celebrates National Cultural Heritage Month in May. — LBG, GMANews.TV

Karim Abdul from Sta. Clara International Academy in Antipolo. He's the guy hidden in the UST recruit thread as Skyhook Rebusado. The young man from Cameroon was brought to UST by his handlers after trying out with the USC Warriors in Cebu. He is 6'6".

  19. #2099
Since he was brought into UST by his handlers, I guess hindi na din tayo dapat magtaka kung bigla na lang magpakita to sa ibang school, lalo na kung biglang humingi sila ng kung anu-ano. Unless Thomasian ang handler niya

    Kanino pwede icompare laro nito?
