You know, I would have had more respect for their opinion, if it weren't for the fact that:

1) They want to darken even BRIGHT SUNNY DAYS! Did you see the screens for that? It's ridiculous! That, and going as far as nitpicking on RAINBOWS!

2) More importantly, it would require Blizzard to undo what they've done for the past 4 years. Delay the game by another 1-4 years because a mere 50k (out of at least a million) potential sales are whining about the art? Give me a break!

The previous bow classes (rogue and amazon from d1 and 2 respectively) are most likely out, because the game now has the obligatory male/female option.

And YES! Blizzard has confirmed that they will not yield to the demands of the online petition.

Regarding the artistic debate, it looks like it might be just an issue of dynamic range. First, Diablo 3 is still under development so they might not be 100% ready with high dynamic range rendering, and second, I doubt there is a streaming compressed video format that already supports high dynamic ranges.

not exactly true... yes may male/female thing but that doesn't mean a archer specialty won't be available.. may be not as "amazon" but under a different name most likely.. (also, "rogue" is a unisex title, see DnD)

Hmmm... Legolas was an archer. It didn't make him any less male. When the movie came out, pinagnasaan pa nga sya ng mga girls.

Pwede rin yung female barbarian. Like Xena Warrior Princess.
