The kitchen part of the condo is quite small. Actually, really small. There is already a sink which I cannot move because of the piping. My initial plan is to place a gas range beside the sink, add a rangehood and a built in kitchen cabinet. The rest of the kitchen stuff (ref, microwave, etc) will be place on the other side - side of the CR. I know there isn't much I can do with the kitchen but I'm hoping for it to somehow become functional.

    I'll appreciate suggestions/recommendations very much .

thanks wala pang pandagdag ng backspplash, wala pang budget
nice kitchen ... it already has a backsplash (splashboard). it is the black wall tile or slab above the counter.

how much did it cost and what are the measurements?

  4. #944
But I still don't consider it backsplash kasi hindi naman nya napo-protect yung wall talaga from the splashes.

you don't need to have your backsplash tempered, pero if you can afford it, why not. is it 3/8" thick? kasama na ba graphicote?

#2, yung 3 outlets mo, magkalapit yung 2, medyo risky butasan.

ganda siguro yellow o orange diyan. ano plan mong color?

I think P270/sq.ft price of graphicote is shop price, basic color, plain/rectangular size glass. Hindi pa kasama yun installation & delivery cost. Kung may hole yun glass for the outlet additional cost pa rin. Normally pag may holes at malapit sa side nakatempered na dapat yun glass.

    correct.
of course di pa kasama installation dun at delivery.
no one charges delivery on a per sqft. basis naman.
definitely may additional cost yung pabutas.

from what I understand sa post ni luv143, nandun pa lang sila sa canvassing per sqft. di pa nakikita hitsura ng paglalagyan kung may outlet na bubutasan.

    Refacing brand new kitchen cabinet

My condo was turned over to me. However I do not like the standard kitchen cabinet. It is some kind of laminate with a simple wood finish. I also wish to replace the handles. Is it an option to just re-laminate with a better quality high gloss finish? Will I need to replace the cabinet doors or simply reface/cover with a different laminate?

Any recommended store who can do the above with quality?

    Maraming salamat.

Most pre-fab cabinet doors that came with the unit has a 5/8" thick laminates. Most are likely to be films rather than laminates. You can buy a machine pressed door if you happen to like their set of available choices or if you want to be unique for that real custom kitchen design you can buy the board substrate and pick the laminate from quality brands. The latest series from Formica is worth framing and hanged on a wall.
