    Kung sink na maganda at matibay medyo pricey talaga. Yun ibang brand na maganda like "foster" umaabot sa 20K yun price complete with fittings. Makikita mo maganda at pulido yun gawa niya.

    Pag mura kse nagsu-suffer din yun quality ng kitchen sink makikita mo may wave yun stainless steel, although yun iba hindi maselan pwede na sa kanila. You can try "tekka","crown" or "hafele" brand. Price range 4K-10K.

    Sa mga hardware depot meron niyan. Check mo rin kung kasama na yun P-trap and other fittings. Minsan kse akala mo mura yun pala wala kasama fittings sink lang mismo.

    Also dapat may idea ka na rin kung ano gagamitin mo faucet kase may butas yun sink, some has 3 hole other has 1 hole only, depende sa faucet mo. Also consider yun drain board ng kitchen sink meron kse left at right hand, depende sa preference mo at layout ng kitchen. HTH

    2. a friend informed me of granite countertops on sale at a nearby home expo. can i buy it now and have it holed and worked on later at home? baka december pa ko magpagawa ng kitchen eh.

    tnx!

    Answer:
    1. You need a carpenter na marunong maglaminate. You can buy laminate sheet sa mga home depot, Unica brand around P500+ per sheet, Multiform P750, (if my memory serves me right ), Wilsonart P1K++. Other materials you will be needing are the ff:
    1. Laminate cutter
    2. Laminate adhesive (Multibond, maganda dumikit)
    3. Laminate sheet (your choice of color)
    4. Laminate trimmer
    5. PVC Edge band 1mmx22mm

    I hope wala na ako nakalimutan.

    not gonna happen. those pulido effects are because they've been machine laminated at the factories.

    Question Kitchen Extension

    hi bryant77 o sino po ang may alam sa concern ko dito:

    sino may alam na gumagawa ng Kitchen Extension - as in from roofing, walling, and flooring?

    ito ang details ng Kitchen Extension (STANDARD BARE):
    - Conventional type structural framework;
    - CHB wall with smooth plaster finish for interior wall & sandblast finish for exterior wall;
    - Reinforced concrete slab (rough finish only);
    - Soil poisoning treatment (all underneath footings, slan on fill & - -- immediate surrounding area);
    - Prepainted rib type long span roofing on steel roof framing with --heat insulation;
    - Kitchen counter top (rough finish only) with stainless kitchen sink w/o utility cabinet;
    - Kitchen sink faucet including valves & accessories;
    - Drainage & waterline system (including downspout, catch basin, kitchen drain);
    - Hardiflex board ceiling on metal frame for interior ceiling with flatwall enamel paint finish (w/o cornice; with airvent);
    - Wood flush hollow core door complete w/lockset & hinges for service door painted w/flatwall enamel;
    - SCW windows with 3/16" clear glass painted w/QDE white;
    - Electrical roughing-in & fixtures (including receptacle, switches & convenience outlet);
    - Exterior & interior paint finish (pre-mixed paint for exterior/semi-gloss latex for interior)

    mahal kasi sa mismong contractor sa isang Real Estate sa Sta Rosa Laguna it cost around Php 13k per sqm.

    pag naka DRESSED UP ay it cost more than double Php 30k per sqm
    ito ang additional details for DRESSED UP KITCHEN Extension:
    - Laminated kitchen counter top with double bowl kitchen sink;
    - Complete with kitchen cabinet and overhead cabinet with 16" x 16" floor tiles

    Maghanap ka ng isang reputable or magaling talaga na carpenter tas yung may kilala talaga sa loob ng gumagawa ng Modular Type na Kitchen. Ikaw na kamo sa materyales at labor basta gayahin lang niya kamo yung gusto mong style at color. Ganun yung ginawa ko para makatipid ako ng malaki.

    Help pls. I want to put a pre-measured dispenser for coffee, sugar and cream in the office, to replace the messy big jars and scoop in the dining area. The dispenser would be like a miniature--wall-mounted perhaps--rice dispenser, that would dispense pre-measured (teaspoon) amount of cofee, sugar, cream, instant juice powder, etc. Where can I buy one? Thanks!
