CRAZY FOR GELO…..BUANG ON LOBO II

Those who knew me personally will attest that I’m more of the “hyperatics” kind of person especially with my “loboistic rants” every now and then not to mention the fact that I am a world class…..SENTI and uber hopeless romantic to the max. Its funny how a simple so ordinary girl...ehem... be so creative with concocting a word that’s quite appropriate… It rings true that nothing inspires creativity more than love can and I guess you could call this belief a denial of some sort…we all have a passion for anything and being glued to something allows you to give your best shot and be inspired to the hilt.

I’m a fine one to talk to but I’m often driven to hysteria when to comes to watching the hottest "telefantaserye" this side of the universe…I was feeling slightly iffy with what I’ve gotten into in my ever quest of doing fine in my work and getting stressed with it is quite inevitable….but watching LOBO took all those blues away in just a snap of a finger, kinda weird, a bit neurotic to be like this…maybe it was just an obsession to be in a fanbase where you practically live up to it every moment of your life….and I’m not complaining at all…as in never talaga!!

Flashback in black and white….my life has changed remarkably when LOBO came into the picture..not too long ago I was in a damn secluded place which no one else could visit…not even dreams…I was in a box living a sane…normal life…too straight..no fuzz, frills and thrills… kinda routinary…super straight….modesty aside I’m super sweet/responsible/obedient daughter.. yeah but boring somehow…you may call it lifeless as in devoid of substance…and then suddenly it went like a big flash of thunder and lighting with a great mystifying intensity….creating wonderful colors like…joyful yellow…. passionate red…cheerful orange… inspiring brown and oh yes hopeful green…admittedly I was never a faithful addicted “forumer’ until a friend has stepped up to introduce me into it…and yes my life has never been the same since then ever...

And now that it’s barely three more weeks to go before it hits…”the end” I’m back at doing an emo…. I’ve done a lot already that I blogged about it. Yay..…can I ask you something? Have you evah experience something like you felt that even if you didn’t want to….or say seemed so reluctant it is inevitable for all of us to move on and grow up? Have yah evah wondered in the long run why in moving on….you have to leave behind so much of what has become a part of you…darn it…I’m getting so emotional…huhuhuhu….i admit that its just a pure escapism…we always choose what to believe in….the very same reason why we all love fairytales and happy endings, we are inclined to believe in the inherent power of a great God to make things fall into a right place and a right time. Fate has defining moments to stand on its own to have someone who’ll make you smile and protect you with his/her own life…

I love this story. It has been a tough rollercoaster ride filled with highs and lows…but there is really an ultimate lesson in trust…an experience that tests our faith and hope for every single day being given to us.

I realized now that in my attempt to be overly lighthearted….there’s a tell tale giggle that I cannot just suppress especially when Noah and Lyka’s lovestory is being talked about. You could give me an A for an effort but my stuff would always be “madamdamin….madrama….and heartfelt” what can i do if i'm born with it...such a certified over to the max..."baduy...and oh sooo korni"eh anu naman ngayon? basta feel eh...hehe bongga!!

We knew its very “highschool” to feel this way but aren’t the simplest joys the ones that bring the most sweetest if not the genuine smiles to all of us?.....yeah I’m talking about the Thursday’s episode...Forgiveness and reconciliation..epi 97….the most awaited scene ever…..we are at one point in bated breath and have this insatiable curiosity of how a love scene of Noah and Lyka would finally happen since the series is about to bid adieu…but there are some romance stories where the characters sometimes don’t even kiss until the last page of the book…whaaattt?... the element of surprise can put us on hold and part of the appeal is the fantasy and the mystery…we all want to believe that there is a ONE that’s meant for us that love descends like a thunderbolt, strikes us dumb and we are never ever the same again…we get into an emo that someone is there for us who could figure out in a lot of special ways even when things are tough and a lot are at stake…when a situation is way too soapy….too muddy…to gooey...too mundane to even make sense…that there is someone whose gonna stick with you until the very end…whoaaaa!!



They say that the best feelings are those that have no words to describe them…Piolo and Angel both gave an excellent, multi-layered performances and exhibited their consistent emotionally rewarding moments….Kudos to Directors FM Reyes and Jerry Lopez-Sineneng for bringing out the best in Piolo and Angel who I guess is a perfectly marched couple in Philippine TV….there’s this magic in them..somekind of glow...na mas matindi pa sa ilaw..…they are everything stars should be….gorgeous….luminous… and truly capable of portraying emotionally involving moving characters...bravo...bravo...kakabugin ba nila awards...basta ba di dadayain eh de baa?



The super most awaited scene was beautifully shot this time in a more romantic ambience( so there’s the bed and a lot of candles lighted in all shapes and sizes.. it could be…hold your breath…a turning point of something wonderful to happen… harhar)…nothing is as difficult as doing a love scene especially if its on TV and for a primetime for that matter where kiddos God forbid are still wide awake and that their prime consideration is at stake first and foremost…but isn’t it more romantic if your imagination starts to wander in greater heights...more passionate...not so tame..haha..ahaa are you all thinking what i'm... Oh well…I really have to stop here…as a lot of kids are lurking…whehehe..ok lang po Mam Laguardia...wala naman po kayong nakita de ba?

I’m a tv buff ask me if I can name a lot of lackluster teleseryes and I would give you a truckload in a jiffy…c’mon ask me please!..…for a good story to fly…the actors must make their portrayal authentic….and real. Piolo Pascual undoubtedly is the most sought after actor who tops at everything he does…Noah is everything a man should be..a classic male arche type….protective.. supportive.. and swept you at your feet….his brown eyes have so much depth and expresses so much feeling that you would fall in love with him in a second… “there’s this guy…so mysterious…the way he laughs…makes me smile...basta his bungisngis is sooo infectious grabeee!! hayy sa kanya lang yun that makes him such a unique guy de ba?…the way he talks gives me butterflies….just everything about him makes me oh so damn COMPLETE….para bang centrum? bwehehe




Angel Locsin hands down… is everything an ANGEL should be….so sweet and endearing….she has a strong emotions, affectionate, has a winsome attitude..."super bait" and one hell of a great actress…she is definitely capable of being anyone she wants and hopes to be….there’s this growing population in angel republic that adored her like a true base loyalty that no one can ever duplicate….She cannot be ignored…wishing and praying of a more challenging roles to hone her craft….a solo movie would make her rise above the rest of her contemporaries…perhaps an indie movie which come close as “Insiang” originally portrayed by Ms Hilda Koronel can match her character...




Angel’s popularity is there and no amount of disheartening and downright disappointing stance of YES magazine and PEP ph can put her down…she’s truly the BEST!!!…so is it right to conclude that all the polls that they have conducted many years now can be questioned that it was tainted and manipulated?… what they want and favored is the one which really landed on the top spot which is sooo UNFAIR to all the fans who supported their idols come hell or high water…mind you... it's a ********...and one hell of a great BIG DUH!!! I’m just wondering who would agree that a daughter of a starlet who isn’t even a STAR in the first place can really be considered as one of 100

I just wanted to say, "kinilabutan" ako dun sa confrontation scene between Lyka & Ylvanna(?) Every word Lyka uttered really gave me chills...especially when she said, "at AKO, ANG HULING BANTAY!" I haven't seen any of Angel's past work, so I've no comparison, but I think she's really good, very effective!
I'm not a fan of anyone in the cast, but I must say, it can't go any better than this! Actually, I think everything is great!

a thought...
angel has really improved- in acting, fashion, performing, speaking and in modeling.. after almost a year in Abs she is far away from before, that's why i learn to love her now.. i think she has totally moved on. also, "lobo" really gave her a chance to both improve and prove her craft as an actress and as an artist. but with all that, i can see that she's still as kind, humble, and noble as before.

Grabeeee, paganda ng paganda....
Ganda kase ng script, directions and especially ang cast. Ganun pala no, pag magagaling ang cast talagang effective ang acting. Obvious pag laylay ang acting ng iba kase lahat todo bigay. pati yung mga bit players and support makikita mo talagang todo aktingan...
Dun sa fight scene ni Nessa and Ylvanna, parang sabi ko kelanganpala na maganda ang motivation sa characters, kase bigay na bigay si Agot and Timmy.
At ang ating huling bantay ay talagang fashionista... Lady in Red siya kanina... lutang ang beauty ni Angel
At hala, sa painting nga galing ang bahtoh ng raymus... na unang nagparamdam kay Dara (o Lara)....
at ayun sya talaga ang humanap sa HB, when Lyka finally embraced her pagiging lobo and at the same time the lahi ng lobo as a whole....
for sure kaabang-abang ang epi tom..

Kahit yung effects tonight.. was the best i have seen in philippine television history... its simple which made it more realistic.. from painting, to wolf, to stone, to a huge comet-like figure searching the sky for the huling bantay... magaling ang editing, magaling ang sequencing, magaling ang synchronization...at sobrang nakakabitin which is the best part that will always satisfy anyone in the end....
Basta lahat.. ngayon lang ako naging ganito katuntento sa isang philippine produced show....

to all the writers, directors, production crew, cast especially to Angel Locsin....basta lahat.. napakaganda...and as i have said before.. this show by far is the only LOGICAL, INTELLECTUAL, and the only show that deserves to be called WORLD CLASS GREAT QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT... a first of its kind....
