PBA historian Jay P. Mercado chronicles some of the most notoriously celebrated crowd-clearing brawls in PBA history.

brad.....quezon ave na toh.....puros ka gym e....hehe....sama mo vince......
i was fortunate enough to experience both up and la salle at gusto ko lang share sa lahat ng mga pexers na makakabasa neto.

I think, the old notion that people who go to CSB are rejects has been disproved. CSB produces quality graduates in the different programs the school offers.

And I don't there's really a need to compare La Salle to CSB kung school pride ang pag-uusapan. My 2 cents, CSB can stand on its own without the need to be compared to any of its sister schools, DLSU-M in particular.
wala naman sa school talaga yan, nasa tao yan, its in how you persevere for something rather than you being spoonfed by your university.
school lang yan; ibat ibang standards lang yan. in the end, nasa diskarte yan ng bawat isa kung pano ka magpapakasuccesful.
Benildeans are mabait so far sa mga nakatrabaho and kakilala ko.
Except for one bisexual guy who thinks everyone in our office is sexually attracted to him.
And it's not true that they're tapunan of La Salle rejects, kasi based on my experience, every time I'd drive my siblings there for enrollment in La Salle, and while waiting for them to get through, I'd hear La Sallians discussing with their parents that they wanted to move to St. Benilde to take certain courses there. So yun.![]()
^ para sakin lang masaya sa CSB kasi people are care free kea masaya so nasa deskarte lang talga
hey benildeans. I just joined and read a few threads here in PEx and grabe. BIG DIFF from all the other international forums I've joined. Lecheng mga amerikano. super nega and akala mo kung sino mang down sayo. don't get me wrong. I have other american friends pero sorry sa mga ma oofend pero majority talaga. grabe nlang mga JERKS talaga. I was in that forum for about a year and all I got is negative comments. iba ewan mo kung nagtitrip lang pero mostly seryoso pala talaga sila sa pag ka NEGA. based on their experiences daw. natuwa nga ako na ginamit nila yung word na "filipino" as an insult to me well in fact I'm very proud to be one and not of them!
But I thank them for making me love my country more.
yun lang.
bow :P
^ Good for you that it doesn't let you down. You're one smart person!
I've been here for years now, so far I haven't encountered any form of discrimination. Mabait naman sila sakin, they help me carry my bags in the airport, they open doors for me when I held things in my hand, and I've never been cussed at by anybody, thank goodness.
Well, maybe it's just the net. Parang dito sa Pex. Yung mga nakatrabaho ko naman before mababait from different schools, also the classmates of my siblings na Ateneans and La Sallians were so magagalang. Even UPians at work don't really display that UP or Nothing attitude or UPian supremacy.
I know coz in one of my jobs, my interviewer was a UPian and the other applicant was also a UPian, kala ko tagilid na kasi syempre papaboran ang schoolmate, nagkwe kwentuhan pa nga sila about UP, pero di naman pala, mas pinili pa din nya ko for the job.
Pero all of a sudden here, students and grads of other schools insult each other and other people's school na para bang walang moral values. Siguro yun nga they're not ashamed coz no one sees them.
Mayaman, Mabait, Apathetic and Trendy. Yan ang stereo typed na Benildean. I'm in my late 20's na and I already experienced what the "real world" is... Isa lang masasabi ko about Benildeans. We know how to respect and we know how to work...Dalawa lang ang nakikita kong kinahihinantnan ng isang Benildean after how many years. It's either sya ang nag bibigay ng trabaho or he/she is holding a high position sa work nya. Karamihan ng taga benilde na nakikilala ko sa corporate environment are successful and sobrang professional katrabaho. My time na may na memeet ako na Benildean na BUM pa rin pero after some time pag nagkita ulit kami nakabangon na sya and maganda ang position sa isang company or nagtayo ng sariling business. Yung kilala ko na Benildean na dating addict at pusher eh ngayon sya na humahawak ng family business nila and their business is selling pre owned Benz so far maganda naman takbo and nagbago na sya. IMHO stereotyping isn't good kasi walang makakapagsabi kung anong meron sa future. A person maybe mayabang or an A-hole in his college life, after experiencing hardship in real life things change. Just my 2 cent.
Either they're too good for college or it's a career choice. But some do find time to finish and get a diploma despite financial setbacks.
And other graduates enrich themselves by enrolling in another course or end up doing post-graduate studies in either DLSU, UP, or Ateneo. Walang sayang na Benildean dahil lahat may kinabukasan. Basta huwag lang pabaya at may disiplina. The same can be said for other grads/products of other schools. So the Benildean stereotype is obsolete. We can do the best or do it even better, with the best of the best in the real world!![]()
Ask ko lang po - how come sa Dasma complete na De La Salle University Dasmarinas and then sa CSB - De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde agad, just curious.
Kasi otherwise kami na taga labas not from either of your schools would not know the difference.
La Salle Dasma is a full-fledged and separte university while CSB's still basically a college but is administered separately from Main as well . Dasma has its own share of stereotypes, being often looked as a mere "campus" of Main but in fact it was a separate college back in the day before the Brothers' took over (Under La Salle Philippines but is administered independently from DLSU-M).
Same thing with La Salle Araneta, dati siyang Gregorio Araneta University before nilipat ang pag-aari nito sa Brothers at naging De La Salle Araneta University.
'Ika nga "Old habits die hard". Parang yosi, nakaka-addict pero nakakamatay.
"Pangit" you mean mga average? Marami kaming ganyan, including me pero talagang may mga modelo at artista (anak nga artista/poltical figure/etc) na nag-aaral doon.
