There's no stereotype that would fit us into one category. To pigeon hole us into one description is sort of rude, and true that a lot of us are middle-upper class citizens financially, but we do have a scholarship program for those who are not too fortunate. Also, not all of us are coño or stand offish, and to say that we are dlsu's rejects is passe, csb happens to offer courses diffrent from that of dlsu and most people go here by choice, not a fall back position.
Let's be realisitc. Mga undergrads na nag work because bored in school or mga graduates na during their school days, it's safe to say na mga gag* or mga hindi dedicated sa work, sila magagaling sa real life, as in the real work, because of their ability to think out of the box and spontaneously. Because they have a limitless imagination unlike those who totally dedicated their life to following orders, instructions and the logic thing, they can get somewhere or anywhere. Otherwise. The others, can get anywhere, somewhere and the infinity and beyond. Lol.

I'm from DLSU and from what I have observed, karamihan talaga ng nagsasabi ng negative na stereotypes sa mga taga CSB ay yun mga taga DLSU.
Enough with the negative talk, please.
As a DLSU student, I envy CSB's artistic and inspired community.
Awesome
Who's gonna attend the Frosch Orientation Program this Jan 05 2013?Go ID 112

Hi Guys!
let me share my experience sa CSB (ID 112)
I'm 25 years old, i got kicked out from 2 reputable schools (i was an accounting major before nuff said) then last year i decided to go back to school and finish what i left off. i received the confirmation letter of from my previous school stating that i cannot be readmitted from their Accounting program because i wasn't able to meet their grade requirement. so dedma na since ayoko na talaga mag accounting as in! so ilang schools na lang ang pede kong piliin. so i narrowed down all the possible schools na pede akong tanggapin knowing na sobrang yucccchy ng grades ko.
i opted for Benilde, Honestly. feeling ko tatanggapin ako dahil nga sa notion dati "tambakan ng mga bagsak".
pero my goodness i was really shocked how pleasant and very accomodating ang mga nasa Admissions. i submitted my credentials kay Ate Admissions and she said "ok lang yan iho, you made the right choice. goodluck on your exam"
siyempre i really feel sooo blessed and kinda may kirot sa puso ang peg ko nun. i was really flattered to the max!
dumating ang araw ng BEE. my gawd ah. the exam was very long and tedious. napa **** talaga ako after that, i dont really expect na ganon ang level ng difficulty ng questions.
since i'm appling for the night program may extra essay exam pa, which was kinda stressful kasi right after the BEE walang yosi break. attack lang ng attack. thank God i was able to survive that faithful day.
i was waiting for the result, half hearted talaga ako. i guess i'm doubting na they will accept me. kasi nga my grades are really crappy like hell.
then dumating yung araw i need to go there to get the results. kaloka ah kasi nasa envelope pa and take note may added thrill pa kasi nahirapan ako buksan yung envelope. hehehe
then obviously i passed my first choice.
sabi ko talaga sa sarili ko, i will strive harder. i will prove to my 2 previous schools na THE HELL!!! di niyo ikagaganda ang pag debar ng students and proud sa mortality rate and those freaking schools don't even care at all.
pinaka eye opener sakin ang CSB life na subject, at first i really feel stupid to enlist that subject kasi i was like. fine. nasa csb na ako. do i need to study how to get in akic ? how to access my SIS ? stuff like that.
but man, iba. thank God si Prof. Labitan ang prof ko. she was really amazing!
i worked hard and religiously studied every quizzes and major exams, then i was able to reach my goal. i made it to the deans list.super proud ako
knowing na i was mr.babagsakin dati hehehe
i gained a lot of friends, iba iba. sobrang diverse ang culture dito sa CSB and i noticed even conios and koreans!enjoying eating kwek kwek and fishball (back gate
)
very friendly and down to earth. daming matatalino lalo na ang mga CDA. may mga friends din ako sa SDA and they are really kick ***!
iba na ang CSB sa dati kong perception, i guess you will really understand if kung ikaw mismo ang maka experience nito
i love the culture, fashion sense ng mga tao and best of all sila manong guards! they are really mabait, i swear lalo na ang mga tao sa registrar and accounting they are really super accomodating. which i find it very rare sa ibang schools.
grading system ? my gawd hirap ako ah. even na accounting major ako dati, competitive ang mga set ng exams. di naging madali sakin lahat but they good thing is may mga prof na very considerate.
for me, CSB gave me a chance to become a better me. no if's and but's. regardless how ****** i was before. they accepted me with open arms (naks!) pero seriously, they will give you a chance. ok lang yan, if you are reading this and looking for a school. GO FOR CSB kung keri naman ng budget, if not apply for a scholarship. napaka generous ng Benilde sa mga scholarship
what i love about CSB is the camaraderie of all schools (SHRIM,SDA,SMS,SMIT,SDEAS). sobrang friendly ng mga tao.
yung batch kasi namin "it's more fun in benilde" i was like ookkkkkkk.
PERO MAN! IT WAS REALLY FUN!!!!!!!

Ako din ID 112. Hahahaha.
Ano meron pala sa ID number? Doon malalaman kung gaano ka na katanda? Lol.
Nag drop-out ako then transferred to another school.
Then dropout ulit since na bored ako, parang di ko nakita yung value of studying.
I decided to work sa different industries. It's fun as first pero nagiging redundant and predictable at routine na lahat.
Tapos I took advantage of the learning experience din plus yung fact to look for what it is that I wanna do in life.
Eh naisip ko talaga film making or multimedia arts. It's I.T with Arts. Di redundant yung work.
Brain storming. The pressure. The adventure.
Kaya going back to school na. Frosch orientation ko sa Jan. 05. Then Jan. 07 na start ng classes
Ang saya. almost 1 subject per day ako. Ang saya lang. Then may 6pm-9pm class ako.
Lol.
Anyway dami ko na nabasa na positive feedback about the school, yung literally na doon nag study.
Nag enjoy silang lahat eh. Literally na work-life (school-life) balance.
Naalala ko nung Oct 2012. I applied sa DLSU and CSB.
So parang related sa I.T kunin ko. Pero di ako tinanggap. May failing grades ako. Hahaha.
Hahaha.
So nag CSB ako. Nandon dream course ko. Multimedia Arts or Film Making.
Nag BEE ako. Oo kainis. Walang yosi break. Stressed ako sa test. Naging autistic na special child ako
sa Aptitude test. So many shapes hahahaha.
Then yung English okay sya. Lakas maka BPO industry. Sa Math. Wala ng-nga. Wala ako nailagay sa scratch paper.
Wala talaga. Seriously.
Lol. Additional support.
Then nagulat ako after a few weeks, I passed))
Seryoso mahirap ang exam. Pero I passed. Thank God.
