I have two pradas. 1 perry ellis. 1 giorgio armani. 2 generics.
2 square plastic frames.
3 metal (2 square, 1 round) frame.
1 half rim metal frame.
pictures? I don't have them. too lazy to post them plus they are in different locations.
I have one. GAP.
i uploaded the photo before but i deleted it. LOL!![]()
I have 2 eyeglasses right now. One is a semi-frameless Rayban and the other one has titanium frame (don't know the brand). I don't really care about the brand as long as it fits right and it looks ok on me.
I wear contacts most of the time and I only wear my glasses a few hours a day.![]()
Eyeglasses or Sunglasses? =) A pair of Calvin Klein eyeglasses, I wear. Sunglasses? Plenty!
thanks for the response. sorry, this maybe out of the topic, but you guys have seen Louis Vuitton Sun Glasses???? I'm not exaggerating it, but the best I've seen so far in terms of sunglasses. The lens, when reflected by light (i.e. sun or any object that produces light), the lens have Louis Vuitton Logo and take note, the logo on the lens will not interrupt your vision. People looking at you wearing those shades would definitely wonder if you were interrupted by the logo. Cool. Price range starts from P25,000 to P35,000. As of now, these shades is only available in Louis Vuitton Boutique. Optical shops might have these very soon though, and can be cheaper....
I dislike having visible branding on anything I wear (aside from Adidas stripes and very small logos on polo shirts), but whatever rocks your boat.
I understand what you mean. I admit to buy desginer labels, and I have some items na kita talaga yung brand (though di malalaki yung prints na nakasulat ang brand), but I dislike branded items na malalaki ang logo sa damit na parang sumisigaw na I'm wearing Armani Exchange, DKNY, POLO Sport (lol). SA bagay, kaya nga bumibili ng may tatak para magmukhang sikat (lol - joke joke)....
I don't think the optical shops will ever carry LV. LV exclusively sells their items sa stores or boutiques nila. And they never go on sale. I agree though that the LV sunglasses are gorgeous! I want the Obsession Carre. Hindi ko napansin yung lens na ganun pala. I don't think their sunnies are tacky to have that. I think it's cool that their lenses can do that. It shows high quality.![]()
D&G prescription glasses. Versace and Ray-Ban for sun glasses.
ChickLuvsOrange is right, LV never goes on sale and its products can only be bought at the LV store in Greenbelt.
Also, forking P35,000 for a pair of sunglasses is a crime.
i have two pairs of eyeglasses. one black/blue frame from public and one red pair from just cavalli.
Purple D&G Prescription Glasses
and one spare metal frame glasses
Personally it's a crime against humanity.
Ang daming nagugutom, ang daming naghihirap and I don't understand how some people find it so easy to throw away money over the most trivial of things.
Like P35,000 for sunglasses.
^ lol!
I think I have sunglasses totalling beyond that.
Thanks for the wake up call.
To each his own I suppose. I maintain my stand though. Not everyone has the stomach to live life dictated by hedonistic standards.
Celebrities are, more often than not, paid to wear these luxury brands. If not, these are given to them for free.
If you don't have the money to buy expensive brands, then just buy the non-branded ones. Simple as that. Why agonize over something that you've no control over?
FYI, LV doesn't make their own eyewear. It's done by mega-manufacturer Luxottica, who also licenses Ray-Ban, Prada, Club Monaco, Oakley, RLPL and Polo, etc.
Luxottica just licenses these brands and places the logo on the stuff they manufacture (they have factories in Italy and China). So while I'm sure it's a nice pair of glasses, realize that they're not really made by LV, and probably no better or worse than Ray-Ban made in the same factory.
I'm not sure how the particular LV licensing agreement works, but in many cases the licensor lets the licensee design the product and just approves/disapproves the final design (this is how it works in most businesses).
