    Drip

    Hey people,

I know there are some DRIP listener here, so if you are one, please say something here.

Meanwhile, for those of you who don't know DRIP, they're a local group who do trip-hop music. Beng Calma-Alcazaren is the female vocalist. You can check out their Multiply & MySpace to find out more about the group and to hear a taste of their music!

Also, their sophomore album is out now, and it's called: Identity Theft. The first single is called Morning After - and you can hear this one being play now on NU 107.

The group will be launching their second video, for the song "Fallen" - if you're free this Saturday, come and join the fun:

Just send a message to DRIP here, and am pretty sure they will be happy to bring a copy for you if you came to one of their gigs in town.

Exclamation DRIP Live in Hong Kong

Our very own Trip-hop band, Drip, will headline the special HK Live! show. They have an impressive track record, having won both Album of the Year from the QLE Awards 2008 in the Philippines and the JUNKSOUNDS 2008 Regional Music Awards for Best Electronic/Fusion act in the whole of South East Asia. The meta-glamorous act are set to deliver a seductive experimental mix that is sure to enthrall the crowd.

If you are in Hong Kong, stay for the gig and support the band.
If not, please do tell your friends & relatives in Hong Kong/Macau to come and see the band. It's time to spread Pinoytronica!

Tickets: HK$100 (Advanced) HK$150 (On the Day)

Hi Ed (this is Cam's friend. LOL!)

Finally, I'm able to finish about 90% of the two albums. The decision to change the second album to a gloomy/melancholic feel, in contrast to the jazzy feel of the 1st one was actually a brilliant move, in my opinion. There was clearly a significant improvement, but that's just my personal preference.

Anyway, Identity Theft is one of my best purchases ever. I really love it.
