okay, here it is:

when you love someone so much, you will do anything and everything for that person and these things that you would and could offer this person are boundless. you could offer your whole life and yet you still feel it is not enough so you would seek more and do more just to make this person happy and loved. the very same thing that you would strive so hard to offer your "best self" to this person and as i said, you would never run out of good things to do because true love is boundless.

the person who truly loves knows that love is not a noun but a verb -- an ETERNAL SELFLESS act.

this is totally different from "martyrdom".
