Actually where you shop for furniture greatly depends on your style preferences and of course budget.

For those who have the money and the taste for classic European furniture try Muebles Italiano, Imperial House of Furniture and Euro Elegance.

For those who want funky, one-of-a-kind yet mid-priced furniture and accessories try Play and Display, Loft Details, and Dimensione.

If you really have the money to burn for modern furnishings, visit Furnitalia, Ethan Allen, Dexterton and ITALdesign in MC Home Depot.

If you are more into contemporary, "safe" mid-priced furniture, go to Blims, Our Home, Sogo, SM Homeworld, RL Interior Depot, Interior Design Options, Aristocrat Interiors and Mandaue Furniture.

If you are short on budget, visit Paco, Maypajo and those who customize "Palochina" and Bamboo furniture which can be found in almost every city and municipality of Manila. You can even have your furniture customized. You can also try eBay and BuyandSell.

Other stores worth checking out include LRI Design Plaza in Reposo St. Bel-Air Makati which sells designer furniture, Tiendesitas in Pasig and Dapitan Arcade. Most of the items from these shops are rare and hard-to-find. Greenhills is also a nice place to shop for unique pieces as well as the La-Z-Boy imitation called EZ-Boy which I believe to be half the price of the original ones.

FYI lang, there's no such word as furnitures the plural form of furniture ay furniture pieces.

BTW, I'm an interior design graduate who's trying to work independently. So if you want AFFORDABLE INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES, PM me na lang. I'm more into portfolio material kesa profit so rest assured you're paying the lowest talent fee....

pero piliing mabuti ang karpinterong gagaw. tingnan mo ang samples of their work before commissioning them to do it. magdala ka ng picture ng gusto mo ipagaya--siguro from a magazine it or catalog/leaflet ng SM. tapos sabihin mo sa kanila ang budget mo. wag na wag mo silang hayaang magpresyo agad. tanong mo ano kaya ng budget mo.

pagkakaalam ko 2 kinds ginagamit sa mga cabinets na nakikita sa SM. yung isa wood laminates na parang formica and the other is a sticker type. both are available in most hardwares. nakakita ako both sa Tru-Value and sa Wilcon builders.

the sticker type can be bought per foot with 36" or 48" width.while the wood laminates have standard size.

ok yng ganung finish pag gagamit ka ng materials na recycled or ayaw mo ng paint or varnish.

depende sa karpintero na gagawa. pag may experience na sa ganung materials swerte mo, pero pag first timer baka pagpraktisan lang and hindi pantay lalabas maraming masasayang na materials.

^^ the sticker is also called "foil" finish.

may tanong ako pero sa windows naman
kasi yung window sa room clear glass
is there any way na malagyan ko ng design
    para di kita sa loob.

may nakita ako ang ginawa is pininturahan
    gagawa nun baka maging simbahan...hehehehe

may way pa ba aside from doing an art job

gusto mo yung may design? punta ka sa mga car accessories shop and look for decals that will suite your taste. dami mong choices to choose from. and pagkakaalam ko meron din gumagawa customized decals that you want to have. pwede rin buy ka one way tint para hindi kita sa loob.

so try ko tingnan yung nasa ace.
