guys tanong lang... last 2007 kumuha ko ng student liscense.. e tinamad na ko ipa non-pro kasi akala ko di na ko magkakakotse.. kukuha ba ko ulit ng student ngayon o pwede na ipa non-pro kahit almost two years ng expired. salamat

^^^apply ka ulit ng student permit...ang validity nito ay 1- year only...be sure to renew it to a prof or non-prof bago ito mag expire.

Non-Prof...if you're profession is not driving then this license would suffice...restriction code is 2 but you can add 1 if you're a biker...

Prof...if you are mainly using driving as your profession...restriction codes may vary depending on what vehicle you are operating...maximum code I think is 3 nos.

Note...although you're profession is not driving but if you have a vehicle over 4,500kgs then you should get a prof license to operate it.

^^ahh yun lang pala yun. its something i never really gave a dang about (like naaalala ko lang ang lisensya pag na-apprehend in traffic and when my bday is nearing). never bothered to ask prior. salamat!

Nung Mid 80s(first time ko magka lisensiya) and the 90s era (renew, renew na lang) madali lang kumuha, wala kasi drug test nung mga panahon na yon, so wala gano gastos.. tapos medyo matagal lang pag release ng card, maghintay ka ng 90 days bago mo makuha. kapag minalas-malas ka pa eh kapag wala pa yung card sa date na binigay susulatan nila yung resibo tapos ilalagay yung extension period..

By year 2000 medyo naiba na sistema, may drug test na so additional fee na yon.. Tapos instant na pag release ng lisensiya, renew ka today, and makukuha mo na yung card that same day din

Yun nga lang, nabubura yung photo sa card... It happened to me, dinala ko yung card ko kung saang LTO ako nag rerenew. binigay ko yung dating card, upo sa harap ng PC cam, sabay ngiti, pirma dun sa electronic signature, in a couple of minutes inabot na sa akin yung new card ko

Dont worry napalitan na yung naka kuha ng kontrata sa printing ng ID daming reklamo sa kanila isa ka na siguro dun at ako din di lang nabura natangal talaga lamination hassle parang Fake tuloy.

Kung gusto mong mag renew ng license wag kang pupunta sa mag kasama ang Registration ng kotse at renewal ng license.

question po..i got my non-pro license last 1999 and expired na sya nung 2002. i lost the card actually years ago, nde naman kasi ako nagmamaneho talaga. pero nasa akin pa yung papel niya.

i am planning to go to a driving school sana..pero panu po ba ang license ko? renewal ba ako then babayad na lang ng penalty kasi expired na siya and ok lang ba na *** papel lang mapakita ko? or apply ako bago student permit? alin po ba ang pede?

guys i have a non pro license expiring next year pa but i want to upgrade to pro license sana this year. is that possible? how much is the fee and is the process the same as that of the nonpro?

Several years ago, I used to have a non-pro license. Drove a tamaraw half full with rice. Tinanung kung ako ang may-ari I said family ko. Dapat daw pro license ko kasi hindi sa akin ang biz.

So, I got myself a pro license para bawas issue with traffic enforcers

Pro license usually for "hired" drivers lang enabling the holder to work as a driver. But it also enables you to legally "teach" chicks (or cats) how to drive (those with student permit only).

I am not sure if a non-pro holder can drive a 6-wheel vehicle.

BTW, is it true that foreigners with international drivers license cannot drive here?

I think you would have to go to the Lto to find out if you could still renew the overdue license. In Lto's website you could still have a license renewed if less than 10 years expired, sa LTO main office na in East Ave. QC to be sure coz they have all the records. If no longer valid you have to get a student permit again.

A Non-prof license holder could also teach and accompany a student driver, a student driver should always be accompanied by a duly-licensed person (prof/non-prof holder) when operating a vehicle.

You could operate a 6-wheeled vehicle if you have a restriction 3 on your license (only prof license holder can avail this), but it depends on the gross weight of the vehicle , non-prof could operate a vehicle upto 4,500kgs.

Not true, a foreigner with an international license could operate a vehicle in our country for 1 think a few weeks to a month, depends.

Pag hindi mo bayaran ang mga multa sa violations mo hindi mo ito ma-renew. Pababayaran muna sa iyo ng Lto ang mga ito bago ka payagan mag renew.


Hindi mawawala ang mga violations mo dahil nag declare ka ng lost license. Nag apply ka ng duplicate parehong pangalan at mukha pa din iyon. Bayaran mo na lang ito at mag ingat sa susunod.
