Philippine Drivers License

I have a different dilemma, kasi nung isang araw lang ako nagapply, passed na ko sa written exam pero nag-fail sa Practical. Masyadong strict yung examiner ko, her only comment was practice pa daw sa pagtimpla ng gas at clutch. Confident nga ko sa pagdrive kasi kia picanto din car ko katulad ng testing car nila, kaya nagulat ako na failed daw ako. (Long story), anyway worried ako na sa 2nd retake ko eh same evaluator pa rin maggrade sakin. May way pa kaya para i-waive na lang practical para lang maissue na yung non-pro license?? Nasa kanila pa din yung student permit at forms ko, pinapabalik ako next week to retake the driving test.

^Naku kilala ko yang si my_2_cents, papansin lang yan. He implies that he's wise, sya na ang magaling.. pero ang kitid ng utak grabe. Ang misyon lang nya dito sa pex ay mangontra at mangridicule ng posts, so beware ka ha.

Anyway, hindi ako sablay magdrive, i said it's long story, i know i deserve the license, mahirap lang pag ginigipit ka dahil gusto nila ng extra bayad.

I recently lost my license, and I know that the ff requirements are needed to replace it:

- affidavit of loss
- photocopy of valid ID (TIN, NBI certificate) [I don't have a photocopy of my license or the receipt)

It was also supposed to expire this March (lost it in Feb.)

So my questions are:
- are there other requirements that I need apart from those stated above, given that the license is also set to expire on March?

- where do I get my replacement? Is any LTO office good enough (I was planning to get it at Cubao) or do I have to go to the main at East Ave?

If you guys have other tips as well as to how I can go about this, I would really appreciate it.

good am po! p-post po different restriction codes? wt if 5years ng expired student permit pde po b i-renew? if mg-apply ng new student permit, hindi po ba mgdo-doble ang database info record k s LTO? tnx po!

I want to share my experience when I got my license. For security reasons, I will just withheld the name of the provincial LTO branch.

I got my license without a fixer. I made sure that I really know how to drive before applying for a license. I passed the written part without lecture! I'm not sure if the Lto personnel purposely excluded me from the lecture part because I think, I am the only one in the room without padulas. I am the last examinee who was called so I am not sure if they withheld me from attending the lecture part. I am not sure. I think there was a 20-30 min interval from the time they called the 19th examinee and my name. Would lectures take only 30 mins? We were given numbers for queue and my number has special mark at the back for identification purposes. When I gave my test paper, the lto guy was overly excited to look at it and guessed my score and then gave it to the other lto guy who scanned my paper for proper checking. Other examinees who finished the exam just gave the test paper and left the room. Hah! As there would be no need to check on their papers because the answers were given to them??? Is it pre-marked? I did not bother look at the test paper of my seatmate. When my Tito got his license a long time ago with the help of a fixer, he answered only a few items in the test and leave the other blank because the lto personnel would fill it for him. A friend (who got a perfect score) also shared that the test paper is premarked with answers so he would get the answers correct. Funny thing is one of his seatmates copied his answers (and of course got also a perfect score) and that seatmate was scolded by the lto personnel. Hahaha. Here comes interrogation time. The lto personnel even asked for the CR and OR of my car! Yes he asked for it. For verification and filing purposes daw. I was like "WOW" Sa loob loob ko "ayaw talaga akong palusutin nito na walang padulas!" I did not argue and just gave him the xerox copy. Glad thing I have those with me. It's as if yung may kotse lang ang pwedeng magkaron ng lisensya?! After that, he gave me another computerized number with handwritten special mark then told me that my name would be called at this certain window which is the cashier! They did not ask me to do the drive test. Haha. I did not bother to ask. Maybe they sensed that I really know how to drive because I passed the written exam without the lecture.

mag aral ka muna ulit mag drive bago ka kumuha ng lisensya, kung automatic naman ipalalagay mo sa lisensya mo, magdala ka ng automatic na kotse dahil walang automatic yung lto.
