guys i have a non pro license expiring next year pa but i want to upgrade to pro license sana this year. is that possible? how much is the fee and is the process the same as that of the nonpro?

Unless you got a new job driving a taxi or a garbage truck, you don't need a "Pro" license.

Just to set things straight.

A professional license doesn't mean you are a professional driver per se. It simply means, you are using your driving skills to make a living.

Want to show off you are a "professional" driver, then go to a racing school and get your racing license. That would be more believable.

yes you may upgrade your Non prof to Prof license...you have to take a medical and drug test first...then go to the evaluator for the checking of your requirements....you also have to get a police clearance...then take picture and pay a fee for application and take written and practical test...not sure how much you may have to spend.

btw prof license holder may operate more kinds of vehicles depending on your restriction code...

sa makati ako nag renew this year, you need 2-3 hours, matagal pa din para sa kin.

try mo mga malls, meron na satellite offices ang lto.

mabilis magpa renew ng license sa ayala mrt station. wala pang isang oras, nakuha ko na yung license ko. hassle lang talaga ang drug test na yan, diyan ako natagalan.

i got my first ever license 2 years ago and i agree that it takes a longer time when you are applying for the first time. my mom even paid so that i wouldnt go through the driving test (cainta lto gave both written and actual tests) but it still took us about 3 hours to finish. but atleast i got my card the day i was supposed to get it while my mom had to wait another three months for hers even though she applied a few weeks before me.

i renewed my license last august in one of lto's satellite offices (robinson's metro east) and i think it took about a little over an hour for the whole process. i wish the picture and the signature wouldn't fade easily.

OfT: what is it with guys when they see a girl in line getting or renewing her license? i mean, is it so unusual to see a girl getting a license? why do they have to look at you like you don't belong there and make papansin?

go to an Lto licensing center and fill up an application form...pay the fee for exams and take written and practical exams...then wait for your name to be called for payment of your new non-pro with rc-1... I think you need to undergo drug and medical exams also...you may check this at www.lto.gov.ph good luck

kakakuha ko lang. walang fixer at hapon ako kumuha.. mga 1pm. dito sa may east ave. di natapos ng isang araw, pinabalik pa kami kinabukasan. so 1-5pm and then 8-11am lahat-lahat. ang tagal, badtrip. dapat ginagawang online na lang yan e. tapos background check nalang. tagal e.
