Expired films are a little hard to find.
So i tried an experiment to age a 35mm film artificially.
After shooting a roll, i "cooked" it in an oven toaster for five minutes.
Although its not exactly a scientific process and i don't really know how much "years" was added to the film, there was definitely some difference (more evidently to the frames on the outer layers of the roll).
Maybe next time, i'll try boiling some rolls
2nd hand Holga CFN starter kit for sale (includes warranty from store, manual / instruction kit, the world through a plastic lens book, batteries and 1 roll of film). Only used this camera for 1 roll of film, not more than a month old. PM me if interested. Thanks!

hello. im new to this thread. para saan yung expired film? for test shots lang ba?
Hi! Welcome!
Expired films are more unpredictable than fresh films.
Hobbyists use them on purpose.
Its inconsistencies are what lomographers want.
But sometimes, wala din naman drastic na epekto.
A roll na nag-expire 2 years ago could still develope like a fresh roll (depende sa storage)
I guess its the thrill of not knowing what to expect from your shots is what makes expired films popular =)
thanks for the info. i guess i have to read more to fully understand its purpose. anyway, i have these two film cameras that i don't know how to check if it's still working. will post in a few minutes the pics.
ah great. site maintenance ang photobucket. nu ni nu ni nu
Fuji Acros 100
and
Lucky B&W 100
Surprisingly, mura lang pala magpadevelop and print ng B&W sa Quiapo compared sa Island Photo sa malls. Around P176 only per roll. Sa Island Photo, P270-P350 per roll. Developing and burning to CD pa lang. Wala pang printing.
hi. san ko pwedeng dalhin ang mga ito for check up? yung hindi ako lolokohin sa price at sa parts. sa kapatid ko ang mga ito. di na alam kung working pa.
salamat.
