yeah after Venom...the next best villain is Carnage na...i was hoping Venom would take more screen time then...oh well...there it is.

How about Vulture?

the vulture was one of the original villains in 3 but when avi arad (marvel studios producer) suggested venom, they remove him completely from the original script. I think the lizard will be the villain of 4, since he is already an established character. as of now there's no word that sony has a working script and tobey, sam and kirsten are returning. i assume that will have an announcement in the end of the year. so that may 2009 release date is really not true.

I'm hoping for Lizard, I think Dylan Baker will make a good lead villain as Curt Connors, another mentor who goes bad.

Black Cat will be interesting as a romantic interest for Spidey, maybe they can endanger MJ again to make Peter doubt their relationship and think that if they're together, MJ will always be in danger. What made the Black Cat/Spider-Man relationship work initially was that Black Cat could take better care of herself if targetted by supervillains, unlike the civilian MJ who'll be more helpless.

Additionally, they can show the relationship problems that MJ and Peter have because of his secret identity (e.g. missed dates, less quality time for MJ because of Peter's hero responsibilities), which Black Cat has no problem with. MJ will want Peter to be more Peter and less Spider-Man, while Black Cat wants Spider-Man more than Peter Parker

BTW Rhino's just a mere brutish thug in a superpowered costume. Scorpion would be nice, the twist to his character is that he's a normal human who volunteered for the experimental armor. Initially, he was to fight against superpowered menaces but the experiment went wrong and just like the movie Octavius, he went nuts.

What's nice about Scorpion's story is that J. Jonah Jameson was one of the people who funded the experiments, so he had a hand in creating the supervillain.

the ending of the last installment of spiderman suggests that carnage is going to be the next villain. tas as for lizard, his alter ego has had cameos on the last 2 movies, so it is also a fair assumption that the 2nd villain would be lizard.

The Dr. Connors character (played by Dylan Baker) in Spider-Man 2 and 3 will become the Lizard.

Or why not his original superfriends, Firestar and Iceman. But then Iceman already appeared in X-Men, and no one seems to be daring enough to make a Marvel movie characters crossover -_-

Yeah, the 2 She-Venoms and the 1 female Carnage weren't as notorious as the original males.

If it's Rhino will they consider the Spider-Armor as part of the plot?
BTW, the current host of Venom in the comic book universe is the former Scorpion ^_^


As for Black Cat, well there are a lot of ways to adapt her character in the movie. Though most of her significant history was supposed to be before the Parker-Watson relationship, she can work well as a relationship-breaker. And her personality would make it for her to confront MJ directly, as what's already been done within the comics.

Random Thought:
Since they've already introduced Venom, what's the likelihood of them moving on to Carnage and the other symbiote children?
