Yup, I own some stocks but they were all losing a lot... as in a lot...!

I only know 2 ways. One is through POEMS (www.poems.com.sg) and another one is DBS Vickers (www.dbsvoline.com). Open ka ng brokerage account and CDP account sa kanila. Once settled, pwede ka na mag trade online. If you're based in Singapore (either citizen or PR), no need to any any deposit. But if you're holding employment pass or just a foreigner, they will require for a deposit.

me too nag invest rin ako online. yung divident, automatic na dagdag sa portfolio mo kaya di mo na physically claim ang pera kasi sa account mo na.

What you are holding are ownership stakes of the corporation that you got your stocks from. Paano magkakapera? Dividend income. Ang alam ko preferred stock ang merong dividend income pero ang totoong ownership stocks eh yung common stock.

puede ka magkapera through divident. puede rin sa changes in price of the stocks. yun nga lang yung price ng stocks ay puedeng bumaba o tumaas kaya di sigurado kumbaga na kikita ka.

try looking at the pse website for online stockbrokers. they might accept your application even if you are 17 as long as you have a bank account.

got out at 3.50 today
