I'm 38 years old, a comp. sci. undergrad (from the late 80's), and a former traditional animation artist with 5 years of experience as an assistant animator. I stepped into a call center for the very first time on the 15th of February at around 10 am and left the company premises around 5:30 pm with a job offer as a TSR for the Toshiba account.

So, what's my point? Why don't you just step into one and take an exam and find out for yourself. We really can't tell you which company is easier to get into. Just go out there and do it. And if you fail in your first attempt, well, there's always another company to set your sights on.

If you want high chance of acceptance. Apply during off-peak season. Like November-January.

ibm daksh (3rd flr. edsa central pavilion shaw)/
sitel (centerpoint bldg. ortigas)/
& PEOPLESUPPORT(makati).

smooth hiring process, after a day or 2-3 days JO na,
i find the exams easy, (NO PRO-SPEAK EXAM/ IVR exam),
may phone simulation, i find phone sim easier than
ivr(inter-active voice response) exams, pro-speak exams...
hindi na ma-shock masyado yung fresh
grad.

PS: not necessarily mean that i was employed by ALL the companies (i mentioned), 2 lang dyan naging employer
ko.

Sa Sykes, maganda ang chance na matanggap ka basta confident at marunong kang magdala (parang commercial ng beer). Kahit ilang araw ang inaabot ng application process, sulit naman basta tanggap ka!

madali lang makapasok sa sykes i was surprised na madali lang makapasa sa exam yung pananalita mo lang talaga dapat mo ayusin. hsbc convergys madugo dun. teletech pinaretake ako ng exam yung sa english. accenture yung psychological exam di ako nakapasa sa phone test. jp morgan chase di ko pa nasubukan pero sabi kailangan me twang yung accent. people support di rin ako nakapasa me computer simulation exam sila di ako nakapasa probably dahil baguhan ako sa call center wlang kamuwang muwang. gusto mo madali sa sales basta bumenta ka lang dun at maka quota ka.

Sa sykes alam ko madali pumasa,,, Kasi *** 4 na friends ko na pinagapply ko samin sa PeopleSupport bumagsak pero nung nag-Apply sa Sykes pumasa 3 sa kanila kaya try mo sa Sykes.

i find it easy ... exams (computer sim), siguro kung fresh grad
ako madali lang makapasok, compared 4 years ago
mahirap exams sa PS
(written pa yata nun, may math exams pa)

sa SYKES naman depende sa account... kung sa RS makati
ka assigned mahirap interviews dun compared sa BCT
makati site. Yes... madali exams sa SYKES, pero bagal
ng process.

-Paragon (pero *** workshop,di ko alam kc di ko na sinipot hehe)

May col center sa Ortigas na di **** kilala pero grabe super hirap ng exam as in! Punyemas ****. I forgot *** *** name nung company. Dun *** ako na-ligwak sa exam nla! Haha

yea. nung time ko para silang nakikipag psycho wars samin plus ang sungit ng hr! sa ibang centers nakikipagdaldalan pako sa hr nila

yup may panel interview pa nga daw dun *** ka wave ko, lagi *** kinokontra nung isang matabang hr sa panel interview as in lahat ng answer nya.. but he was able to get in , makwento un e,, hehe.. dapat lang talaga mataas energy level mo pag interview ka na sa kanila..
