Mmmm..... That makes me wonder sino ba talaga ang BoBo ? Is it GMA that claiming to be 58 years...... When in fact it is not , but have a web page on their website having their history time line. Or Yuweh that uses the web page as a source to prove that the company is laying.

Obviously ikaw ang BOBO, you can't even read between the lines nor see what GMA's real intentions are. O di kaya ay nagbubulag-bulagan ka.

Yes GMA is 58 Years na counting back from their Radio years, pero ang celebration ng anniversary nila lagi nilang TINATAPAT sa MILESTONE Anniversary ng ABS-CBN TV, like nung 50 Years at ngayong 55 Years Celebration ng ABS-CBN at Philippine TV eh sinasabayan nila kahit alanganin naman ang Anniversary nila.

Pinalulutang nila and they make it appear na mas nauna sila by meeting ABS-CBN's TV Anniversary Milestone Celebrations head-on. Bakit hindi nila giagawa every year yung high profile celebration nila kung walang ganung intent? Bakit everytime lang na may Milestone Anniversary Celebration ang ABS-CBN TV they think of mounting their own anniversary na hindi naman common practice sa corporate world and make a big deal out of it? ESEP-ESEP wag masyadong DIE HARD at magtanga-tangahan!

Ngayon kung di mo makita yun... sino ang BOBO... o kaya'y NAGBUBULAGBULAGAN alang alang sa PAGIGING DIE HARD ng GMA?

MARCOSES CLAIMING OWNERSHIP OF GMA 7 SHARES
    ByCexile Lardizabal and Ricky Carandang

Former congresswoman Imee Marcos, eldest child of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos, on Friday filed a complaint at the Securities and Exchange Commission, claiming that her family owns 28.35 percent of GMA Network Inc. which is scheduled to list on the Philippine Stock Exchange on Monday.

In a filing, Atty. Jay Alberto Flaminiano said "GMA disclosed in its final prospectus that the Duavits were one of the three majority stockholders who would receive 28.35 percent of the enlarged share capital, without disclosing further that the shares held in the name of the Duavits were merely held in trust for our client and her family. The same would constitute false misrepresentation."

GMA raised nearly P8 billion from the offering of common shares and Philippine Deposit Receipts from July 17 to 24. The 91.346 million common shares and 822.115 million PDRs were priced at P8.50 a piece.

GMA Network spokesman Butch Raquel said the company's lawyers were still discussing the complaint in a meeting.

Imee Marcos earlier said that there was a precedent case wherein Puerto Azul's initial public offering was halted in 1996 after they claimed that they own shares in the leisure company.

    Uncle Bob

A source close to the Marcos family said the late president bought the GMA shares from American Bob Stewart, also known as "Uncle Bob", who hosted the television program Lucky Seven Club.

"Ferdinand Marcos was wealthy even before he became president. Bob offered to sell his shares to the Marcoses because the Parity Law was expiring in 1974. Being an American, he had to divest," the source said.

But another source close to the Stewart said the American family tried to run after the shares after the EDSA Revolution.

"Two weeks after EDSA Revolution, the Stewart family wrote to former senator Jovito Salonga, claiming that they're the owners of GMA. And that the Duavit, Jimenez and Gozons were fronts for the Marcoses," the source from the Stewart family said.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    1970s

. During Martial Law, Ferdinand Marcos ordered the closure of all but three television stations: channels 9 and 13 were eventually controlled by then Ambassador Roberto Benedicto, and Bob Stewart’s Channel 7 was later allowed to operate with limited three-month permits.

. ABS-CBN was seized from the Lopez family, and Eugenio Lopez Jr., then president of the network, was imprisoned.
In 1973, the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (KBP) was organized to provide a mechanism for self-regulation in the broadcast industry.

. Stewart was forced to cede majority control to Gilberto Duavit, a Malacañang official, and RBS reopened under new ownership, with a new format as GMA-7. When the smoke cleared, the viewer had channels 2, 9, 13, run by Benedicto; Duavit’s 7; and 4, which belonged to the Ministry of Information.

. When DZXL-TV Channel 9 of CBN was sold to Roberto Benedicto, he changed the name from CBN to KBS, Kanlaon Broadcasting System. So when a fire destroyed the KBS television studios in Pasay, the people of Benedicto took over the ABS-CBN studios on Bohol Avenue, Quezon City. His employees moved in, and by August 1973, KBS was broadcasting on all ABS-CBN channels. A year later, Salvador “Buddy” Tan, general manager of KBS, reopened Channel 2 as the Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The two Benedicto stations--KBS Channel 9 and BBC Channel 2—mainly aired government propaganda.

Yes you can do that, actually im doing that kung may program akong gusto panoorin later. Meron kang magiging pristine copy. Lalo na kung merong kang Windows Media Center ganda panoorin dun ng Recorded copy! I cant wait for the HDTV Format of ABS-CBN!

Very clear talaga walang noise at mga distortion. Kasi nga digital. kaso pag humina signal nawawala totally, black lang pero halos di nangyayari sa akin yun.

Mas ok pang panoorin sa PC Mismo para pure digital walang degradation sa analog pag sa TV. Channel 149 or 24!

    Im really loving it!
