LBC Bank offers up to 9% interest per annum on its Royal Earner TD . Minimum deposit is only P10,000. Available terms 2 to 5 years.

AMA Bank still has a double-your-money TD but the term now is 7.5 years from 5.5 years in 2005. This translates to a compounded annual interest rate of 9.7%. Hindi ko lang matandaan kung ano ang minimum deposit; i think it's less than P50,000.

    Maraming salamat.

Usually, gross rates ng Dollar TD is lower than the Gross rates of Peso TD, pero for Dollar Currency, the witholding tax is only at 7.5% while Peso Currency, the witholding tax is at 20%....

Hello guys! i-try nyo i-visit ang www.malayanbank.com kc mron clang "Doble doble power saver", after 5 years doble na pera nyo. Matatag naman *** bank kc GMA 7 ang isa sa stockholders. Payo ko lang 250K lang ang ilagay nyo para sakop ng PDIC. Kapag naka-ipon na ko balak ko maglagay dun. ^.^

insured naman siguro sila ng 250k as required by PDIC/BSP. BUT i didn't want the hassle sa paghanap pa lang ng branch nila kaya sa metrobank na lang me for convenience' sake.

let me share this experience guys: i placed a time deposit for 3 years with a 33.33% pa. return released in advance. so iyong interes ay ni-roll over ko siya to compound it sa ibang investment portfolio. but that time deposit is in within pdic limit. if in case na magsara ang bank at any time of the day at least napakinabangan ko na ang interes ng pera at i-claim nalang sa pdic ang capital. does it not sound great.

sir forgive my ignorance hindi kasi ako maalam sa mga finances and still learning... tanong ko lang what do you mean by "return release in advance" and "roll-over to compound it"? thanks

  17. #37
kunin ang interest. iwan ang principal (return release)
    iwan interest plus principal (roll-over)

PS Bank try niyo 5.25 (30 days) 5.5 (60 days)
    a Metrobank Subsidiary
