American alternative rock band Lifehouse is back for another evening of good music and heart-wrenching lyrics for the second time in the Philippines. Catch Lifehouse Live in Manila as the band performs their hits “Hanging by a Moment”, “You and Me”, and “First Time” as they rock the Smart Araneta Coliseum on May 26, 2012. The concert, which is co-presented by Star World and FOX, is another event brought to you by Dayly Entertainment.

Lifehouse was formed back in 1999 in Los Angeles, California and gained immense popularity with their hit single “Hanging by a Moment” from the album No Name Face. Its members include Jason Wade on vocals and rhythm guitar, Ben Carey on lead guitar, Rick Woolstenhulme, Jr. on drums, and Bryce Soderberg on bass guitar. The band proceeded to conquer the airwaves and became the “Most Played Song of 2001” and named the No. 1 song of the year on the Billboard Hot 100. It made history by being only the third song to ever be named song of the year without having reached No. 1 on the weekly Billboard charts.

As a follow up to No Name Face, Lifehouse released their second album Stanley Climbfall which featured the songs “Spin” and “Take Me Away”. The
band then produced two more studio albums and more hit songs such as “First Time”, “Broken”, “Halfway Gone” and the immensely popular “You and Me”. Lifehouse went on to sell over 15 million records with a sixth studio album currently in
the works.

Promo Mechanics:

1. A thread will be created where a promo question is published. The thread will be created in the PinoyExchange Promo forum as well as in the Movie sub-forum.
2. Participants should answer the question correctly and provide real details after answering the question.
   1.Who are the four (4) current members of Lifehouse composed of their vocals and rhythm guitar, lead guitar, drums, and bass guitar? Name the four (4) Lifehouse members.
   2.What are the first two (2) albums of Lifehouse with their first album having the hit single "Hanging by a Moment" and their next album featuring the songs "Spin" and "Take Me Away"? Name the two (2) Lifehouse albums.
3. Participants who correctly answered the movie question will qualify for the prizes.
4. Winners will be selected randomly by inputting all entries in an excel sheet and picking a number using a randomizer (www.random.org).
5. The entry where the number of the row matched the number provided by the randomizer wins.
6. Multiple entries are not allowed. Should a participant submit multiple entries, only their first entry will be considered. All other entries will be excluded from the list before picking the winners.
7. One promo question will be posted within the duration of the promo.
8. There will be five (5) winners in total.
9. Winners will be notified by private message in PinoyExchange, announcement in the promo thread, and through SMS.

American rock band Lifehouse returns to the Philippines and Team PEx was there to meet the band during their conference held at Mariott Hotel, Manila on May 24.

Lifehouse is composed of Jason Wade (vocals, guitar), Rick Woolstenhulme Jr. (drums), Bryce Soderberg (bass) and Ben Carey (guitar). The band first visited the Philippines in July 2008 during the Philippine leg of the Who We Are Asian Tour. And after 4 years, the band is set to the stage on fire again for the Lifehouse Live in Manila concert on May 26 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Jason Wade said that he is delighted to go back to the Philippines and serenade their Filipino fans one more time. The Lifehouse frontman said that the Filipino crowd during their 2008 concert was exceptional and they have never expected that they have an ardent following on this side of the world. Wade pointed out that the fact the audience knew all the songs by heart made their 2008 concert an amazing experience. He promises that the band will deliver a great show on Saturday night and hopes that the energy of the 2008 crowd will be the same

The band was also asked about their opinion about how they feel about how their songs are often used on various TV shows, Wade said that they are pleased on how their songs reaches new audiences through the exposure it receives through TV. He also praised American Idol season 11 finalist Colton Dixon's rendition of "Everything" during the competition.

Lifehouse also shared their songwriting process in which their various experiences in life served as an inspiration for their compositions. Wade hints that their upcoming 6th studio album coming out later this year will even show the band's growth as an artist that their supporters would surely love. The band also encourages aspiring artists to continue their dream especially in the digital era in which anyone can showcase their talents via these accessible platforms.

Lifehouse rose to prominence in 2001 via their smash hit "Hanging by a Moment" which topped the 2001 year end countdown of Billboard magazine. They released five studio albums "No Name Face” (2000), “Stanley Climbfall” (2003), “Lifehouse” (2005), “Who We Are” (2007) and “Smoke and Mirrors” (2010) which spawned hits 'Six Cycle Carousel", "Spin", "You and Me, "Blind", "Whatever it Takes", "Broken", "Halfway Gone" and "All In".
