Get a championship ring and a crown for LeBron first before you persuade!

maysado kasing minamaliit ang 3 rings ni kobe because he had shaq. but the fact remains, he was still a huuge part of those rings..... lebron.... hasn't done squat yet. sure he went to the finals last year after getting by the tough pistons (but after also being lucky on the first two series)

  4. #24
as much as i hate bryant, id go for him on this one.they're both ballhoggers, i honestly don't see much difference between them on that aspect, bwakaw sila pareho, tapos.

bring the cavs to the west, they wont make it to the playoffs even if james' partner larry hughes brings his A-game night in and night out...so his finals appearance practically cannot be used as a gauge. his only worry then was the pistons, while in the west you have to go through practically every team well except for the grizzlies and clippers.

    Its All About Kobe.

LeBron is like Superman - blessed with his God given body, speed and athleticism.

Kobe is like Batman - worked hard for everything he has and is damn good at what he does.

Before anything else, let's discuss the bullcrap notion that Lebron is better because he has a weaker team to carry compared to Kobe who has a better supporting crew.

First of all Lebron fans, the Cavaliers are playing in the God-forsaken Eastern Conference. So it dosent matter if Lebron's teammates suck because they are playing the D-League. Want some stats? Ok go figure: the Cavs have a W-L record of 6-4 in the Central Division and an unbelievable 6-7 record against the Atlantic Division teams. They are a combined 12-11 against 2 mediocre divisions who only have a combined 2-3 teams who are worthy of seeing post season action. If Lebron is indeed the King that he is, why can't he even "carry" his team to a respectable record against these lowly peasants in the East?

Lebron is good, but unfortuately, the hype has been created before the results. Like D-Whistle in years past, Lebron is being cuddled to stardom because of his star power. Case in point: the 2008 All-Star game. Ray Allen was the true MVP for the East in that game, and Chris Paul if we were to gauge the winner regardless of the result. But because Lebron is "king", then David Stern and his media cohorts must make him King. Gulp.

And oh, please don't forget how Lebron fared in the the FIBA Worlds and Olympics in the recent years. Will the statement that he choked bigtime suffice, or is it too much of an understatement? Oh yeah he just won the FIBA Americas with his "great" 3-pt shooting. He did that while Kobe was busy locking down the opposing teams' leading scorers.

Lebron or Kobe? The choice is ridiculuous. It's like comparing Daffy Duck to God.

we should get input from non-Lakers and non-Cavs fans so the opinions won't be seen as biased.

bakit nga ba laging dahilan ng kobe fan boys na si LBJ is playing in the EC? not a kobe fan boy here nor LBJ... scoring wise, kobe is greater than bron even bron is leading the scoring this season. he can score anytime he wants, be it inside or outside. then,, bron is great stat filler(coz he has the ball most of the time). he initiates the offense of cavs....

look at suns now without marion!
When i say singlehandedly carry the team, i mean this season alone. Like what Chris Paul and LBJ does. Which means the teammates depend on how well these guys play or make plays for them. Take them away, the teams would be cracked open. Do you actually believe Amare and Marion could gun the way they did if not because of Nash? Nash made plays for everyone. Come on. You should know better.

We're talking about who is the better player. Not better team. Just in case you didnt realize, the Lakers won the championship, not Kobe. Ano yun, one man team? So putting up the Ring issue is none but useless.

Lucky?? WTF. they swept the Wizards and beat the Nets with one eye closed. Now thats what makes players valuable.

What ever man, whatever. I dont see one valid argument put up in there. Maybe Kobe is a better shut down defender, but LBJ has a higher ratio of steals:foul ratio. Which means he plays inteligent defense. He is still quick for his size. And remember when Lakers went 0-2 againts the Cavs? Kobe was shut down by LBJ.

a fan of daffy i reckon?

And Ray Allen winning the MVP in the All-Star game? There you go with the ballhog bandwagon again. While he is the leading scorer in the game, LBJ racked up 8 assist, plus 8 rebounds. Allen just kept shooting with reckless abandon.

hahaha... you are proud that the Cavs swept the Wizards w/out Arenas and Butler on the line up.

one of the reason why KB24 is the MVP of this season

Suns w/ Shaq 3-6 they said it will take some time
Mavs w/ Kidd 4-5 same reason
Cavs w/ new players 5-3 (2 L from team below .500 Bucks and Bulls)

Lakers w/ Gasol 14-2 that shows you how great KB24 is
