Mukhang tinipid ang budget kaya siguro very kitschy yung hanging plants.

It was a rushed opening. The wall above will look better once the plants start thriving same with the fish life. Minadali kasi afterall this is a business venture and whomever owns it want to start making money.

It's up to us to police ourselves.

pero there are things here na wala sa underwater world ha! wala sila nung outdoor type of setting. wala rin sila nung super laki na japanese crab. at mas maraming GIANT AQUARIUMS sa atin as compared to the one in singapore.

Ive been to MOP last week, pumapangit na ang place, coz I think they had no maintenance, coz the aquariums looks filthy now, the paintings are terribly damaged...

was there two weeks ago. madami tao. ok naman sana kaso mahal ata ang 400 per person nilang entrance fee.

for P400, thats already considered cheap compared to the other oceanariums in the region. the one in bangkok which is almost similar to manila's is worth 850 baht, almost P1,200. everyone should have a chance to visit it.

here's some photos from my visit:

I went there this past March during a vacation and it was PACKED! Gahh... it would've been much more enjoyable if there weren't so many kids around (probably on a field trip).

Aside from that, I was pleased with my visit. They were still doing construction, but it was still a pretty sight. I wanted to do the whole fish spa thing, but that kinda freaked me out (still does). hah

We had our ocular inspection of the Manila Ocean Park on a Monday - no crowds, no lines at all. Guide said it usually is better to visit every Monday or Tuesday otherwise crowd is heavy.

It is still a work in progress - there will be more different species coming according to our guide. A mall and hotel is being constructed nearby.

I liked the flashlight fish - its eyebugs flash on and off. I haven't seen it in the other oceanariums we've visited. Php400 is not that bad compared with other oceanariums in the region.
