I'm interested to join, are there clubs that meets in Makati or near Boni mandaluyong ?

Mmm...toastmasters

My mom used to be a member, back when the toastmaster groups were still operating in her company and in Muntinlupa. I heard you dramatically improve in your speechcraft after staying a while. I do plan to join, but with the clubs in my area done for and my piles of work, I'm not sure if I can make the time for it.

If there's one thing from the group I always take into heart though, it's the three points rule. Helps a lot when it comes to driving my point in presentations.

Yes, I've visited them a few times. They are one of the better clubs around. They certainly do have an excellent cast though not as interesting and cool as ours (Emperor and CaMaNaVa).

Yes, it's not for Chinoys only. We have Pinoy members too. English is the medium used. Mandarin is used only during meetings to be held on the last Wednesdays of the month.

Ill be graduating in HS this school year. Can I join toastmasters club? Im just 16 but Im interested. Im sure this will hone my communication skills and self esteem coz im always having jitters facing people. Any advice? Thanks.

There's a minimum age limit and that is 18 but some clubs should accommodate you. The application forms don't ask for birthdays anyway. It would really be advantageous for you to acquire such skills earlier than later.
