    Emilio S. Lim

let's face it, their major clientelle are the low income earners. mga willing bumili ng mga kagamitan at higher than SM prices. provided eh hulug hulugan nila.

    so i guess it's a moar decent 5- 6

i guess they figure if they make ther stores as nice as SM's e magdadalawan isip na pumunta ang mga kapwa mong pinoy na madungis... ya?

They pass on the savings from an ostentatious showroom to the low income buyer. And any business which is good enough to be given the name of it's owner is good enough for me.

Ang garbage appliances eh yung mga surplus appliance sellers all over the city. Yung ukay ukay na mga appliances that sell a 21" tv for P5,000. and sira na siya after 6 months.

  7. #7
Yup, he owned 680 Home Appliances.

I can still remember the ad jingle vividly. Hehe.

I was actually trying to be sarcastic.

Anyway thanks for the info, now I understand kung bakit ganon sila.

I hope you're not trying to make it sound na iniimply kong madungis din ang bumibili dun ha.

At marami silang franchise!

So wala sa hitsura yan, brad.

I remember nung naglibot kami sa Hong Kong to do some electronics shopping, parang Raon din yung mga electronics shops dun.

Emilio S. Lim was my professor back in UP Dil. His businesses really are meant for the lower-income brackets. Think Ikea for appliances - they pass on their savings (from decor, superfluous displays, etc) to the customer.

I'm sure you'll see his showrooms in a different light kapag nakita mo ang bahay nyan. His La Vista mansion is huge.

ng kaning lamig. sa totoo lang ok lang naman kung bumili nang appliance ng hulugan atleast maayos na investment ang appliances ang importante de kaledad ang mga binebenta. syempre kanya kanyang budget yan kung talagang mahal sa mall syempre merong ESL dito sa amin sa Laguna marami pa din bumibili , nung nagititingin din ako appliance muntik na ako mapadaan kaso nung nakapag inquire wala dun yung type ko na ref model at tv kaya I end up going to abenson festival mall thru my gf's cc ( misis ko na ngayon ) we had a good investment of a tv and ref before our wedding for christmas last year.

tama cdr king is not your vip type store but just like a regular booth but wth! their customers are from different sides of the city. bakit porke ba nakatsinelas at pambahay lang sa mall wala na kaagad pambili ? actually those who dress in a simple manner had tons of high end credit cards and shopping money they just want to make themselves blend in the crowd as plain mallers to avoid being noticed by bad elements such as pick pockets and hold uppers.

let us not be judgmental ( tama ba pagbaybay ko ? )
