you mean you're making a research based on the quantity of the contributions? so you think that counting is a relevant gauge of a university's contribution?
ano naman relevance ng "research" mo kung sakali gusto mong magbilang? pataasan ng ihi ba ito? oh come on... |

at tska, obvious na ang sagot, its UST, 400 years ba naman, as compared to 100.Ang current status ang dapat paglabanan, ang quality ng mga students, board exams passers and the most important ay yung mga achievements, both local and international.

i think this is really unfair. why have that topic? comparing 400 with 100? i think, pride is the ultimate issue here and NOT the achievements of a certain university - i'm just talking about the title of your post.
it's not really how long a university had been but rather on the quality of its graduates per se... |

Research ba kamo? Wag ka dito sa PEx magpunta. Hello, tamad ka ba? Do your legwork. Ang kailangan sa research work ay dapat credible ang iyong sources. At kapag sa PEx ka nag-rely naku, sigurado ako, walang kwenta yang trabaho mo.

Pls look at the roots of a schools foundation.
UST was established for the primary reason of grooming boys to priesthood. UP was founded for the primary reason of establishing the premiere university of the country. Contributions wise in evangelization UST leads any university by that matter and is in fact disconnected with its 300 century old linkages and alumni from europe and asia, if UST could trace back all of its graduates from the 16th to the 19th century, hell UST may discover its alumni and contributions scattered all over the world that are undocumented.this is the herculean task that UST alumni assoc faces. |

at the turn of the 19th century and at the fall of the spanish sword to the US annexation of the philippines. UST's dominion in a way weakened when the US introduced programs of state run colleges and universities with UP leading the helm of all other govt schools. But UST has withstood the tides of change and has contributed or equalized UP's nation building. and that is a feat that cannot be discounted for.

Hi wiremold,
your pretty much welcome here, though i hope you read the title and its context first before you put something in this thread. pls dont get me wrong though, i do not put any meaning to what you just wrote pero it generally gives everyone here an opinion on how you were molded, and educated. Maybe your from UP, and i guess you are, coz my story is,,,most of UST's bashers come from UP only, unlike the ateneans and lasallians who give due respect to the post and poser and the institution for that matter, only UP students malign UST's contribution to society(and i believe the threadstarter is also from UP), crab mentality?we will never know. And this thread does not lift or equalize UP's prestige as that of UST - bot schools have different identities that each of them can stand alone, it also merely requests for comparison of the 2 schools contribution to society. hence with your reply, i can only atest that your flamebaiting and are a troll under the exclusivity of UST's forums. And as for the benefit of the doubt, here is but a few of UST's pillars that have made an impact to nation building,,,,unlike the bashers i come across with. hay... another one turning in a bashing thread. sabi k na nga that's why i am very careful with my post earlier.
it doesn't matter if the thread starter is from up or ust let't just stop comparing our accomplishments, okey? things like these are just plain stupid. it reminds me how kids would often brag about what "toys" they have to others who do not. and to the threadstarter, Sabi mo ayaw mo ng bashing, pero sino ba gusto mo magparticipate dito? UST at UP students lang ang sabi mo, diba? C'mon! How can you have "information in a civil way" kung sila lang gusto mo magparticipate? Biased na ang research mo and i am doubtful kung research talaga ang purpose ng thread na ito. if you are really serious about doing your research, do your legwork. It will not turn out into a scientific one if you do it like this. Kahit na sabihin mo na survey ang gusto mo gawin, ndi pa din magandang sample ang forum e. Make a really nice framework for your research wherein you will define what are your standards for making an accomplished university. Ipresent mo dito yung findings mo para mabasa namin lahat. Salamat! Peace! |

nakakita na ko ng mga intilihentng mga post dito sa PEX kaya naman naisipan kong magtanong na din dito, wala naman akong sinabing eto na yung "basis" ng research ko eh, "konting tulong lang" ang sabi ko..

GO USTe.. |
