So na-Mbe rin pala tayo kay Brian Organ

Oh well, they're not the last players who "almost" made it to us! One other example is Canaleta of UE! Let the coaching staff sort their own program and we'll take our cue from what happens. Maybe it's all about timing again.

mukhang okay ang mga recruit ni richard. pero it remains to be seen how they'll fare against the rest of the ncaa recruitment field. nagtataka lang ako na-mama yung la salle ngayon eh last week naman nakipag-mamaan sila sa baste b.

marami na rin kaming share of recruit heartbreaks. may isa kaming inaantay na player na sana magbago ang isip! sana hindi ma-heartbreak!

Muntik na din ata si Dela Pena sa inyo dati if i remember it correctly. You guys have some good players in your Team B, I've seen them actually one time in Fr. Martins. I really think the missing piece in your team is a center, that i think will be filled by JDG. Hope and pray he'll improve by leaps and bounds.

Grabe ang Lasalle Team D. AVO, Torres, Gallarza at Harris. Tremendous job in recruiting these players.

nakita ko nga ang team b nyo at mukhang maganda ang season 87 nyo kung magpapatuloy lang sila...

  7. #2207
I was hoping things would be better this season and it paid off in a small way. And judging by what other people say here about our team B, I'm not keen on higher expectations. But I'll take any complement anyway, so long as they really do better next season!

i think he tried out with DLSU not CSB.. but because of the 2 year residency requirement in the UAAP, he opted to suit up for the cardinals since the ncaa has only 1 year residency requirement for players coming from abroad... definitely if he tried out for CSB given that we really had no marquee players for the past few years, he would have definitely have a spot on the blazers lineup..

Hoping so, but I do not bank on it. He could be all height and nothing else. He should have a medical check up as he could have a pituary gland problem.

Saw great pics in greenarcher.ph of the CSB team B in a friendly match against Lasalle team B+D. Great job Blazers! Hope they can sustain that winning attitude up to next season when they make it to the NCAA. And best of luck to their last game against the Cards today!

    FAITH IN THE FLAME!!!
    ANIMO BENILDE!!!

actually according to a ubelt write-up in his rookie year, he tried out for CSB with the intent of pursuing a degree in music production. I'm not sure though why things didn't pan out for him there, as the article only mentioned that it was one the basketball moves he made that didn’t take off.

and oh, if i'm not mistaken, CSB's coach that time was Tonichi Yturri, everyone's favorite big man coach and commentator today, err, see?

  15. #2215
so will gee abanilla even be back???

  16. #2216
Gee Abanilla I think is "unofficially" Team Consultant and still the boss of Coach Richard.

Now here's what I heard when I watched one replay and from a commentator (no it's not Mr. "You know, see?"), Team A players will have to wrestle it out with Team B to earn their slots for next season. Looks like will be seeing JDG and some former Stags fighting fire with fire with Lastimosa and the rest of the rookie crop.

Looks like Team Burn will have to collide with Team Ardor just to see who ignites the most!

  17. #2217
not bad for Blazers' season... rebuilding season...

I hope wala ng ghost ng past na sangkot yung key players sa game fixing.

  18. #2218
I hope so too! And with the way Coach Richard is utilizing a FILTER SYSTEM TO QUALIFY for slots is a better way to maximize every known recruit from team B to team A. I think it can lessen the chances of someone doing "extra-curricular" activities or bad behavior within the team.

This is also the way the DLSU MBT does after each UAAP Season.

  20. #2220
Well at least the program is back on track! Hopefully we can see the results as soon as possible.
