^ Mike Silungan is SF. Three-pointer/scorer. 6'3. Siya yung Fil-Am na 2 years na hinihintay ng UP. Next year ay si 6'7 Alinko Mbah, Center.

Last year na nina Woody and Martin so this is really their last shot for Final 4 or else? Wait pa tayo ng 2-3 years. Yan ang cruel reality sa collegiate basketball.

On topic: (nagiging Men's Basket team na)
For the Women's Volleyball, sana mapolish pa nila ang skills nila next year.

next season is promising and interesting. the maroons now have a shelter to go to.

Ngayon ko lang napansin. Oo si Silungan ang bago namin shelter. Kasi magpapaulan yan ng maraming puntos.

A Silungan clone will come on board next year. The clone is Mike's good friend from that old neighbor in Chicago.

Nga pala there's an Eaglet that the coaching staff has taken an interest to. The kid has been practising with the MBT since last year. He's about the same height as Juruena at about 200 lbs. Wag na nyong hanapin sa eaglet line up that won this season's jrs crown because he choose not to suit up for the eaglets. La Salle has also expressed interest in him and has shown up for tryouts a couple of times in Taft.

UP should be strong next year especially with WNCAA MVP Alyana Abad (St. Scho) and Shakey's Girl's V-League Best Libero Ina Hipolito (UPIS) and Best Receiver Rica Enclona (Hope Christian High) in their team next year.

What I could say is WOW kung ganyan pala narerecruit ng UP in the past years. So hindi mo wala ginagawa UP sa recruitment. Ang problema lang siguro ay sa pagdevelop ng talents.

As far as I know, walang babae sa Ateneo high school.

This is to remind her that high school and college volleyball are of the different levels (same goes with basketball). Of course, plus na na magaling yung makuha mong players sa high school. The point is the college/universities should develop the skills of this players.

dati nga daw sa thailand training ng ateneo, kay araneta raw naiimpress ang thai coaches pero due to lack of training na 3 times a week lang ng UP and sa medyo nawalan ng gana si araneta sa volleyball, ayun, kumain ng kumain, kaya tumaba. saka humina na rin siya. sabi nga dati ng ateneo fans, malakas daw talaga yan nung nakikitryout pa. lol.
