iba talaga ang UP WVT...Ateneo Eagles have been sending them a lot of dust lately. they shud try to give more efforts. Ateneo is in the final four now. eh, yung UPWVT, nothing. they're satisfied with a one set win. and you call that improvement????????

IF i'm a fan, *i like Mela and South*, i wont be satisfied with their one set wins. it takes 3 sets to win a game. umayos nga kayo.

Hello to all people who are still supporting this team despite their uhhm "lackluster" performance. Sayang hindi sila kasama ulit sa V-League. Anyway, makikita pa rin naman natin sila sa Torribio Cup. Regarding this team, ano sa tingin ninyo ang problema? Si queen_ako (na sa tingin ko e isa ring Iska) ay pinopoint ang problema sa mga players. Si cmsc_ako sa coach (and to some extent sa players). Ano kaya problema ng team na ito. Sa akin OK naman line-up. Any suggestions?

i'm not Iska but yes, i love USte simply because they played it all; with passion, with intensity, with love for the game. saan ka pa?

Mela's talent is wasted with the UPWVT team. what's wrong with this team? they just don't have the passion for the game. they think they can just stand inside the arena and that's playing already. duh

according to Muhammad Ali, champions are NOT made by the coach. they are given by the people who are playing the game by themselves. to show people that they have it in them to win the game.

in short, the UPWVT are just damn lazy to move. even NU, given more time will let them eat dust too.

1) new coach if not possible due to contracts get a good trainer
2) from what i've read here in pex due to conflict of schedules they don't practice as much. hire a team manager or heck even get a student assistant to arrange the schedules of the players.
3) change of attitude (players). if i remember it correctly on their last game it was reported by one of the csr that they were gonna have a party after the game- to celebrate what... I don't know. the funny thing was they lost the game.
4) they need a setter, a good libero and an open spiker.
5) conditioning of the players. physically I don't find them athletic enough and the spiking form of their players pang high school.

I want them to be at least competitive in their next uaap campaign. sana they make naman all iska and isko proud.

The entry of Hipolito from UPIS could solve our libero problem. As for setter, I don't know but they have to choose from the two already. I like Denise Data because she could cover the blocking of UP.

As for open spiker? Si South sana problema ang pangit ng form at talon. Hopefully the re-entry of Jed Montero could solve that.

Sana lang talaga next year galingan nila.

This seems to sum up what's "wrong" with the team.
I dont know if any other team recruited Lopez but i really doubt if she would have made it to UST women's team considering that when she finished her HS the UST women's team was really loaded na. Lalong walang mangyayari sa kanya doon except to have been a member of a championship team.
I previously thought na taga UP ka but since you have said na hindi pala, i'm surprised how you have bashed the team and its players for quite some time na.

Correct wish list. Sana hga but highly doubtful for the near future. I have no idea of how the VAAS system works and which players are enjoying its priveleges. But since halos walang aalis sa kanila and considering na juniors at seniors ang karamihan next season, i highly doubt kung may chance pa for skills improvement to make an impact for next season.
Tama ka. Parang ang skills set na pinapakita nila ay yun din ang daladala nila nung HS pa sila.

^ don't call our school patalo OK Manood ka ng ibang UAAP sports to remove that impression that we are losers. Pero I have to admit this year is the worst for UP sports in general From 3rd overall bumagsak sa 5th.

Strong UP teams na di "patalo"? UP Men's Volleyball, UP Baseball, at UP Women's Basketball (despite what happened last year kasi rebuilding eh).

I just hope you wouldn't be discourage from what's happening to UP sports. UP Fight pa rin

It's OK Taga Peyups din naman ako at despite na performance of some of our sports, I still believe in their capabilities especially on other sports. Women's basketball? Di ko naabutan si Mahusay last year (addict no nacover ko almost lahat ng games). Medyo bata ang team pero abangan natin sina Robelo, Stevens, Bautista and Fille Cainglet (the elder sister of Ateneo's Cainglet). They are trying to GO BACK to the Final 4 (hopefully sa Finals) after being there for 6 years.

As for the Men's, expect the entry of the Fil-Am scorer MIKE SILUNGAN. Create ka ng accout sa gameface.ph (or philippinebasketball.ph). Malakas daw ang UP Men's next year pero di muna ako umaaasa kasi ayaw ko mangyari parang last year
