im having problems on my pc suite ng samsung star ko, nakikita niya ay yung memory card ko, pero d ko makita yung mga files ko, aun i deleted my pics kase baka na virus, ask kolang po, na vivirus ba samsung phones??

you don't have to use pc suite if you already have a memory card. Just connect the phone with the memory card in it to the computer. Set the phone to "mass storage" instead of "modem" and the computer will automatically detect the card on your phone same as when you are inserting a memory stick, plug and play lang. Samsung phones are really easy to use when it comes to external storage. It even charges the battery when connected to the computer like an iPod (unlike my nokias). I don't use PC suite 'coz it's so slow...

I have the Jet for 5 days already. May napansin lang ako, at times nagbiblink blink yung screen tuwing nakastandby siya (unlock mode), parang nagiiba iba yung shade niya. Think sepia to colored then back to sepia. I may be exaggerating. Or may eye defect lang ako. Anyone else encountered this?

Just got this phone for 5 days and I love it. This may not sport a touch screen like every phone is getting now but there tons of things it offers because of the Windows Mobile 6. The phone is fast though it sometimes it slows down when multitasking. Considering the price tag of this phone, its a real bargain.

I wouldn't, love my bnew samsung omnia, kakaibang experience talaga itong phone na to....bro hindi ka pa ba nagsasawa sa symbian OS? baka gusto mo check comparisons ng omnia at n97 sa gsmarena

About the free upgrade wala pa ako'ng idea, I'll just check once in a while upon browsing the web.

About the apps, standard windows mobile apps: IE explorer, streaming player (for youtube and such), windows live messenger, team manager, fm radio, facebook app, windows media player, office mobile, rss reader, java, adobe reader, standard organizer apps, etc. Kaka-install ko lang ng Bing pati microsoft my phone (for phone backup). (Meron pa atang iba na hindi ko nasama tanungin mo na lang saken yung specific apps)

Actually pinag-a-aralan ko pa kung anu-ano pa pwedeng i-install dito. Naghahanap din ako ng resource site/forum para sa phone pero medyo mahirap talaga, siguro kung maghahanap tayo resource forum for this phone we should look for a forum that is about windows mobile, kase yun yung OS niya.

well if you're going to buy, better go with the omina II, sayang lang if you're going to buy the older version for just about 8k less. i'm sure may mga bugs pa lalabas sa ominia II but as all bugs. na fifix yan
