any g600 users here? i'm planning to get one kase but i have always been a nokia except last year na i decided to get an SE as back up phone, to my dismay, ambilis nasira!!! at "beyond economic repairs" na ang diagnostic! (well, baka minalas lang din with that particular SE) But yun nga this time i want to try Samsung just wanna know if worth it ba ang g600 kahit i heard na the 5mp camera is not that great

I'll never consider Samsung phones as alternative.

That phone above resembles Soul U900 a lot, same features, only it's d-pad is touchscreen. nice!

Also samsung phones seem to lack profiles, which is standard on nokia phones.

Among the new models announced by Samsung in Barcelona, I am definately drooling over the F480 (with its impressive display) then the Samsung U900 Soul (for the touch sensitive D-pad).

I have a problem with my samsung g800. I don't know what the macro shot and wide dynamic range are for. I also don't know the best settings for the camera, like saturation.. contrast.. iso..

i like samsung phones, yung D900 ko nga nasira agad yung ribon wala pang 1 year, since sa grey market ko sya nabili.. ayun walang waranty..

last october '07 ko sya binili, so far ok pa rin naman.. kaso lang:

-ang bilis bumaba ng price after kong binili
-walang calculator
-walang table view ng calendar
-walang date ang sent items
-hindi napapalitan ang themes sa mp3 side (di naman masyado importante sakin to)
-nagbabakbak yung material nya, yung parang rubber ang texture
-kahit may spare battery, hindi ganun katagal lalo na kung whole day mo balak makinig ng mp3s
-mababa ang memory nya.. expandable pero hanggang 2gb lang

overall, instead of buying separate phone and mp3 player, ok na rin sakin since hindi ako mahilig sa gadgets

I still have my D900 which I bought back in 2006. Honestly, until now the phone is still in excellent condition. No repairs, whatsoever.

So I think user-dependent din minsan based ang life ng phone. Anyway, ang ayaw ko lang sa samsung phones eh yung heat na mafeel niyo everytime you charge the phone.

I'm only using the D900 as a secondary phone now since I have my Curve 8320.

But I checked the latest / soon to be released phones of samsung and I think I fell in love with the G400.

But I don't think I'll get another samsung phone. The D900 will be the first and the last. Hehe

P930 yung sa akin... hindi nga *** na market dito sa pinas for this model dahil hindi magagamit ang TV functions nya dito..yung TV phone nila last year... hindi nga *** na market dito sa pinas..got it directly sa samsung insider..kahit cellphone wrestling kaya ng phone ko...hehehe.. its 3g na rin,2.0 mp camera..etc.
