Comparison
rumors says Samsung will build (for the third time) the next Google Nexus smartphone that will be released/announced Q4 of 2012. the said unit will run the next version (Key Lime Pie) of Android OS.
pero I'm still hoping that the rumors earlier this year were true that Google will release 5-7 Google Nexus smartphones from 5-7 different manufacturers
Guys, wala bang magiging problema pag halimbawa napuno na yung USB storage ng samsung phone natin? I'm talking about samsung units na may partition yung internal memory like Galaxy S Advance, Wonder, S2, etc.. Kase sakin 256KB na lang ang natitira eh. Everyday yata nababawasan sya, ewan ko kung bakit. Kaya baka this month maging zero na ito. Ok lang po ba yun?
Samsung is the Nokia today.. Inb4 Samsung is in last position in the race, few people buy their phones and most of the consumers don't care at all..
Supposedly the next Nexus will be released sometime this December or close to December. It will have either Jelly Bean or Key Lime Pie ( not sure of name, referring to the iteration that comes after Jelly Bean ) preinstalled.
^ That's an interesting way of looking at it. My understanding is perhaps they'll release 5 Nexus phones from 5 OEM's or at least that's how it was announced ? We'll find out by December if it will be 5 or just 1 awesome phone![]()
ano po bang pinagkakaiba ng series ng samsung?
ace?
galaxy?
wave?
wonder?
young?
ano sa mga ito ang bet niyo?
totoo bang phase out na daw yung wave? if yes, bakit?
hi guys ano po ang battery life ng phone na to under normal use?
umaabot ba ng 2 days cleanly?
llol.
@BeerhandBop Galaxy Note and Galaxy S III can last 2 days with mild to moderate use. With moderate to heavy they'll last about a day or perhaps less than a day. Supposedly ( I haven't tried it myself) using Juice Defender Ultimate will double your battery life ( but I think the limit is really 2 days or a little more than 2 days). Keeping 3g/HSPA+ always on will deplete your battery really fast, still the S III can last about more than half or 3/4ths a day and the Note will last a little longer.
You might want to wait for the Galaxy Note 2 coming a little later this year. It might (not sure) have even better battery life than the original Galaxy Note.
@cindy_cato ang alam ko lang is the Galaxy S Series is the flagship Android series. Perhaps Ace is midrange.
Ace - is one of the models of the Galaxy series phones. midrange smartphone ito.
Galaxy - ito yung Galaxy series. from S (the flagship smartphone), Ace, Fit.
Young - popularly known as Galaxy Y. this one is an entry level smartphone
regarding kung phase out na ang Wave. hindi pa. may nilalabas pa rin ang Samsung sa Wave series, pero hindi kasing rami ng sa Galaxy series.
HTC Desire V is overpriced here (low-end HTCs are overpriced IMO), it costs around 15-16K. Although not yet released, I think Galaxy S Duos would be relatively cheaper by 1-2K. Samsung and Sony has the best pricing when it comes to low-end phones.
Too soon for Key Lime Pie. At least they should give it a year before they release the next iteration for Android to give OEMs time to adopt to the just released Jelly Bean. Key Lime Pie should be 5.0, a new version and not an update like how Jelly Bean is to ICS (although that was a huge update).
I know, pero 5 months? Unless it's another "update" (I doubt it), dapat next year pa ang Key Lime Pie. Jelly Bean is a really big update, giving it only 5 months to be adopted by OEMs and to be enjoyed by users would be terribly wrong.
Anyway, here's the leaked "official" Jelly Bean ROM for GS3. From what I see, it's really smooth. But I still like Vanilla 4.1 more than this tweaked Samsung ROM. How does it compare to GS3 on ICS? Share naman.
Any idea on where i can get the best deal for the Galaxy Nexus Phone? Preferably hindi online shop.
mas maliit lang yata yung screen ng Wonder over Ace. you can visit GSMarena.com for more details.
alin ang mas high end sa 2?
- between Ace, Wonder & S2, mas highend yung S2. that was the 2011 flagship phone.
hindi mabenta ang Wave kasi Bada ang OS niya. most people choose Android because of the thousands of application that you can download (most of ther ar free).
yung Donut to Eclair 1 lang. pero I agree, medyo matatagalan at mahihirapan sumabay ang OEM sa updates kung may lalabas ulit this October/November/December.
pero kung walang bagong version na lalabas, what's the use of releasing a new phone kung hardware lang ang pinagkaiba niya sa previous Nexus phone. I think the hardware wars is over. sa software na ang labanan ngayon
