To all Galaxy users out there, naka-encounter na ba kayo ng ganito?







Maraming beses ng nangyari sakin na walang pumapasok na text messages sa phone ko at wala ring makatawag. Kumbaga parang wala syang signal. But as you can see, meron naman syang naka-indicate na signal. Malalaman ko lang na may problema yung phone ko when I try to call someone. Kapag sinubukan ko ng tumawag, bigla ng lalabas yang icon/logo na yan. Ang panandaliang solusyon na ginagawa ko is I turn off the phone. Pag binuhay ko na uli yung phone ko, saka palang magsisipasok yung mga messages na supposedly eh kanina ko pa dapat na-receive.

Nakaka-encounter din ba kayo ng ganyan? Anu kaya ang ibig sabihin nyan at paano yan maiiwasan? Hassle kase minsan may importante kang text na hinihintay, pero di mo agad nare-receive kase may problema na pala sa signal. Or you're waiting for an important call, pero di sila makapasok kase naka-off daw yung phone, which is hindi naman at may naka-indicate pang signal. I hope someone can enlighten me on this. TIA..

Nope, hindi sya naka airplane mode or flight mode. Kase kung naka flight mode sya, naka-indicate yun sa itaas (airplane logo). Pero dyan you can see na may 1 bar pa sa signal nya, which means naka GSM mode sya. Any idea guys?

set your network mode to auto or GSM if hindi ka naman mag browse sa net. baka kasi naka WCDMA mode ka. nangyari na yan sa akin, unattended pa nga kung tatawagan eh full signal naman. just use WCDMA mode for faster browsing.

Naka-set na talaga sa GSM yung network mode ko kase mas tipid sya battery pero nangyayari pa din. Same with the auto mode, nangyayari pa din sakin yung ganyan. You're right, minsan hindi ka matawagan or unattended kahit na full signal naman.

kahit naka-nokia L900 na ako ay lagi ko pa ring gamit ang SGS ko. Hehe ginagawa kong guinea pig, experiment ng mga custom roms. The best itong SGS!

Me too, i thought before that I am the only one who experienced this kind of error on my unit.

Do you think its about the network? Or is this some sort of a factory defect?

i don't have any idea. hope this will get fixed asap

anyway, i have another problem, i always turn off the mobile data when i don't need it. Sometimes, the moblie data was not working when i tried to turn it on. i have to restart my phone just to make it worked. have you also experienced the same problem?

So far I haven't experienced that kind of problem. I have no idea also on how to fix that. For the mean time, I guess you just have to restart your phone if the problem occurs again.

I personally tried Viber (text & call) and Skype (call/chat/video call). These apps require internet connection though.
