My Galaxy S III's top speed using Globe's HSPA+ network
    * Mobile internet speed is location dependent
    * Supposedly Globe's HSPA+ network has no data cap which is kinda true, unfortunately both Globe and Smart have Fair Use Policy. Haven't encountered this yet but I'm assuming if I consume too much data I'll probably get Globe's attention and they might (not sure) throttle my speed.
*Can't really blame Globe for having a Fair Use policy as there are some unscrupulous individuals who have found a way to resell Globe's bandwidth ... sarap dagukan.

Thanks for the advise. Yep, those are the versions in my S3 right now. I remember kasi na I was prompted for a new firmware nung naka-connect ako sa WiFi, so I downloaded and installed it. Yep, got Kies in my laptop. Kailangan eh to transfer my contacts and music files.

Thanks also for the advise to use GSM only when not accessing mobile internet. And just to set WCDMA whenever needed for browsing.

I bet Galaxy Y owners are pretty pissed that Samsung offered the Galaxy Y Pocket and is cheaper than Samsung Y.

Punchline: Galaxy Y Pocket has a 3GB internal memory (vs Galaxy Y's 180MB)

I don't think they'd be pissed. Galaxy Y has a bigger screen, and the price difference is not that large (less than 1K). And it's just Galaxy Pocket.

But the internal memory difference is just too large to ignore. 3GB vs 190MB is about hundreds of apps vs a few apps.

    Pretty pissed or in denial.

Pwede pa rin dahil both Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pocket are multi band phones.

    Hmmm, I wouldn't feel either if I had a Galaxy Y.

    Multi-band ang Pocket.
