I'm assuming naka stock samsung ROM ka. just hold back button & home button at the same time. yang ang screencap sa Samsung phones.

This post is inspired by a thread in XDA which states that the Galaxy S III is unique in terms of Android phones. Though the internal elements in some countries may vary, the external shell and basic silhouette remains the same. This means accessories (cases, screen protectors, connectors, etc. ) made for 1 version may well be compatible with all versions of the phone. Also, the Galaxy S III is available from most if not all major telco carriers worldwide.

Maybe your doing it wrong. Or maybe Samsung changed the process on making a screenshot of your phone. Sorry I'm not using Samsung ROM these days. naka Custom ROM na ako ngayon eh

Try pressing Power and Home button simultaneously. Kailangan ata mayroong external micro sd card na nakalagay sa loob ng phone mo. Paki tingnan na lang if it will work.

^ Yes may 50 GB free dropbox for 2 years. Haven't signed up for it though, I bought a 32 GB micro sd card instead to add to the 16 GB internal memory. Got it for P1,799 Unli Surf locked for 2 years, with cash out P4,800. Initial payment was P6,599 ( P1,799 1 month advance plus P4,800 cash out).

My Globe unit is unlocked ( tested it with a Smart microsim and it works ). Also heard those that availed of the unit from Smart can also use Globe microsims in their units. Baka naman in time magiging carrier locked din ang units? Sa ngayon kasi tingin ng iba baka wala na silang (Globe and Smart) panahon na i-lock yung mga units dahil medyo madami naghihintay ng pre-order.

^ Medyo maaga kasi ako nagpre-order online at Globe's website. It took roughtly 1 and 1/2 weeks before the unit was delivered to our office. Yup, tatawagan pa kayo kung approved na application at kung kailan pwede pick up siguro kasi sa Globe HUB kayo nag-apply.

^ 1. Games look amazing on the S III, love the graphics

2. The Music player is really good, it even has an equalizer.

3. Phone is a lot thinner in person. Phone looks better in person . When you view the phone at Globe or Smart, phone has cords that wrap around it. Take away those cords and when you hold the phone in your hand it feels really good.

The S III is not weightless, something you will notice once you've held the phone for longer than a few minutes. That said, it is because the phone is light despite the screen size that you won't readily find the phone unweildy.

4. Camera takes nice pictures under direct sunlight. When taking photos indoors or at night , you might need to manually adjust ISO or use HDR mode. Camera app has crop option, which I like.

5. Under Globe's HSPA+ network I can get speeds up to 5 mbps with the Galaxy S III.

* Please protect your Galaxy S III with a protective case or a pouch with lining. It is not a rugged phone. Otterbox offers good protection and perhaps in time Otterbox cases will reach the Philippines. I like the Commuter series.

To enhance battery life I do the following :

1. Set mobile network to GSM only most of the time. This helps the phone last 1 day or even more. If I want to occasionally use Globe's HSPA+ network I switch mobile network to WCDMA only para mas madali sumagap ng 3g and HSPA+.

On Wifi the phone can last more than 1/2 a day to almost a day. Kung on palagi HSPA+ phone will last a little more than 1/2 a day ( more than 10 - 12 hours ).

2. Use dark wallpaper.

Regarding charging I only charge till the phone says it's 100% charged. Yung iba kasi they charge their phones 3 to 4 hours.

If you play games continuously or if you watch videos continuously phone lasts 1/2 a day.

Regarding retails units, yes mayroon nang mga shops bukod sa Globe and Smart na nagbebenta ng Galaxy S III. Punta kayo SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, Glorietta, Cash and Carry at Greenhills. Sa mga other malls kung hindi man nadeliver na ang mga units ay padating na sila. Yung Samsung Glorietta mayroon na silang Marble White Samsung Galaxy S III , cash price is P32,000, credit card is P37,000.

Yung mga units na nakukuha from Globe and Smart are unlocked units (so far, perhaps in the future this might change).

I have a question for those who use Samsung Galaxy S2.
How do you do that thingy where you can send text messages from your S2 anonymously?
Like, you can create a random number or even use somebody else's number (sender) and make it look like it was sent from that number.

According to my friend, this isn't an app for Android and he's the only one that can do that. Eh may deal kami. I need to know. Haha

anyway i've read an article about it's battery life that from 100%, it became 60% after a three-hour HD video streaming, with 50% (not sure) screen brightness. I think it's quite impressive!

Ganito kasi what happened:

I received a text from a friend tapos di ko siya mareplyan kasi yung number niya is "7" lang. I thought he used a computer software but no, Samsung Galaxy S2 daw.

And then pinakita niya sakin kung paano. Nag-swipe siya ng text to my number and then he asked me kung anong number ang gusto ko. Sinabi ko yung number ko. Tapos, nakareceive ako ng text message from myself na ang laman is yung text na ni-swipe/sinend niya.

He made a deal with me na kapag nalaman ko kung paano niya nagawa yun iti-treat niya ko and ako ang taya kapag hindi ko nalaman on or before Saturday. Haha

Um-oo ako dahil confident ako sa researching skills ko but parang wala pang nakakaalam nun. He's super sure na siya lang daw ang meron nun kaya matapang pumusta.

Hindi ko nahawakan yung phone niya kaya di ko rin sure kung S2 nga yun (hindi rin ako familiar sa Samsung phones in the first place).

Black yung unit and wide yung screen. Ito pa, may antenna siya. Haha. Sabi ko China phone yan eh. Hindi raw.

Pwede bang mag-swipe sa China phones?

Or hindi siya Samsung Galaxy S2?
