For new grad hires, how long are the leaves? VL/SL/etc? Ah, and do you know how much is the salary range for new grad hires?

I'd be grateful if you could answer my questions.. Thank you!
we have service payback contract wherein you need to render certain number of months for a specific amount... I have to get back to you on the details... I have to ask the training officer so I can give to you the right info...

for the leaves... 5VL and 3SL upon regularization (retro computation)... I have to ask the HR group for the details...

Sorry, I do not have any idea regarding the salary of the new grad hires...

Thank you so much for your reply. Some follow up question how about when it comes to performance benefits? do they have any? also, how about taxes? is it true that tax here is only 10-11%?

According to the recruitment of 77 Global, they only practice "offsetting", and OT pay rarely happens. This is quite contrary to what you have stated. So, if you're negotiating for your basic salary, it's best to factor-in the OTY's that could happen in the job.

They only mentioned two offices, one in the Philippines and the other one in the U.S. But I can't remember if it's New Jersey or New York. When was the 77 Global-Singapore established?

They also said that they already have 1000 employees in the company, but you stated that you only have 500 employees. Ano ba talaga?

Also, thanks to the PEXers who posted their experience here in the 77 Global thread. I have verified that those things did happen in the company from the previous year, and also back in 2008. It came from the employees of 77 Global themselves, and also from the recruiters.

For cases wherein your project gets terminated, they would look for another project for you within 1 month. If they managed to get you a project, and you said YES, then you are safe. But if you say NO, and the 1 month grace period (while in bench) has lapsed, then they would have to let you go (forced resign).

This is an IT consulting company, and contracts DO get pre-terminated depending on the project and management. I guess for potential candidates with less than 3 years of experience, you might not be able to take the pressure. But for those who can, this company is a high risk-high reward.

*I just figured I should throw-in my 2 cents in this thread. Best of luck...

All of these are true, I also asked my former teammate who is now working for 77 confirmed this as well. Also in my opinion, I prefer offset than OT pay. It is quite similar, and for me taking a break once in a while is better than money (8 accumulated hours of OT would be equivalent to a day VL).

I visited their website as well and I saw that they really have a site at SG (it came before the site in MA, i think). Site in us is in Jersey. The cons for me of this company are the lack of security (if you have no project after 30 days, byebye), benefits (Accenture will own this company on this part), and the 70 day notice.

    Oh, the Pay is gooooooooood.

there is one group that has performance benefit that i am aware of... but yearly salary increase is based on performance evaluation...

taxes varies between probationary and regular employees; and service contractors...

probationary and regular employees follows the regular computation of taxes... for the service contractors there is 10%, 15% and i think 2% tax withheld...

If you are looking for a company that will make you a TL, or PM in a certain period of time... 77 is not that company... but in terms skill enhancement through training, 77 could give you that...

That's why I say... "OT pay depends on what group/project you are going to be deployed..." we do have multiple clients, some practice "off-setting" some do have OT pays...

yes... this is a high risk-high reward company... and contracts do get terminated, especially if the project does not do well...

yep our benefits is not that competitive... but the salary will makeup for that... if you know how to negotiate...

Questions to former employees of 77GSI. Since malaki ang sweldo nyo compared to other companies, how is it with your next employer? Were they able to match your previous salary with 77GSI?

Their salary offer is really enticing but the problem is there's no career advancement. When you join in as a programmer, you will leave as a programmer.

Any mainframe developer to give feedback?

Hi, I have an interview with their clients this coming week about Windows 7 Build and Deployment. Do you guys have an idea what are the questions?

    I agree...They offer competetive salary.

  14. #154
Im so torn with this company. though, i am still for client interview next week. im working in a stable company and been retrenched twice. so stability is important to me, but their offer is so damn high. one of my friend who were applying also in this company asked HR what will happen if client is no long around and HR says its only applicable for project/contractual based employees. is that true?

Hi, I think if ever na e accept mo ang invite nila..we are catering for the same client in 77global. Or maybe not.

Yeah, the offer is very good..although the benefits are average or when you came from a good company its below average, but I guess the salary will compensate for it.

The advice that I can give are...weigh the pros and cons. How much the offer compare to your current compensation in your current company?

I agree that this company is a high-risk..but you will never know maybe this is it.. but in anyway, pag isipan mo ng maigi. wag lang masyado focus sa mga bad feedback.. depende naman kasi yan sa project/client na mapuntahan mo.

    Good luck!

Hmmm..no special question. Just common like technical/screening/hiring manager.

I have an upcoming interview this week with 77 global for QA post. I have read so many negative feedbacks on this company. I am just scared to move because I have also been retrenched twice and I wanna make sure that the next company I will be working with is stable. How stable is 77 global? how are their interview questions, tips naman thanks all!

I think when economic crisis strikes no company is exempted. The difference between them and 77global is that, the client/project call the shots if it will end. I believe as people say in this thread that when the client/project ends 77global will try to find you another project in a span of 1month. But as they say 77global have many stable client.

I think it will fall out on the client/project itself. Just do your search on the project that they want you to work. And always weigh the pros and cons if you want to pursue your application to them.
