^^ Siguro kukuha na lang ako ng other BDO account, withdraw, then go to the nearest depositing machine of BPI. Mura pa, walang hassle And then I might get a mutual fund which could use my applied BDO account.

I pulled out my BPI Current and Savings and TD. Di na ako natutuwa sa service. They wasn't even able to approve my CC Application. I transferred all my account including my corporate account to BDO. And so many privileges

9% interest for a 3-year term car loan
    Parang rate ng BDO Employees)
Parang HSBC Advance na may pre-approved card, personal loan and more.

    9 years, BPI...goodbye!

Not really, you are at a risk of losing 100% of your money kung magkalayo ang ATMs - kasi maraming mga manloloko sa tabi-tabi. So it's still a hassle - and a big one!

You can never say that you are very careful.

Also, machines could fail. Pag hindi mo nadeposit yan, then you're left to carry that cash all along.

Pero kung magkakatabi lang ang BPI at BDO machines, then this may be a suitable option for you. There's still that risk, but it's not as big as carrying the withdrawn money over longer distances. Saka mas mabuti kung parating gumagana ang BPI machine (remember machines suffer downtimes too).

But I don't get it, why open another BDO account?

  4. #144
^^ Hindi naman, it's an ATM account.

don't worry boss; I live about 5 minutes away from SM North and di nagkakalayo mga bangko dun. If the deposit machine in BPI fails or di matanggap yung bills, I can do over the counter.

Now that you asked if I need to open another BDO account, I rethought about it and will probably get another direct savings account here in BPI as a "secondary" account if I ever put in some of my money in Mutual Fund investments.

^^^ ah, good to know that. I would agree with you that, that kind of arrangement would really work out.

  6. #146
^^ Pwede ka namang mag-apply kaagad-agad for another direct savings account di ba? Plan ko sana next week para lagakan ko ng aking Sick Leave conversion so that when my "padala-sa-bahay" freedom month comes next month, pwede nang ilagay sa mutual fund ko.

Question, what other banks provide a product similar to BPI's Maxi-Saver? I.e., tiered interest rates + 1% p.a. bonus when no withdrawals are made in a month.

The closest I can find is BDO's Optimum Savings, but it only offers tiered interest rates and no bonus interest. Also, withdrawals are limited to three in a month.

    Thanks in advance!

Young professional here. I already started saving money coz I'm planning to put up my own business soon.

    bakit dalawang isip? hehe.

go for the bank that works for you.

kung convenience hanap mo, then go for a bank na madali mong puntahan - probably the nearest in your place of work or residence. go for a big established bank, huwag mga rural banks.

Something's corny and lame method in banking with BPI these days - You have to ring the chime if you're happy with their service - ano yun? Shakey's (they use bells though)? I find it too cheap for them to do it in a corporate world. I won't buy their objective by saying this is to let customers express their contentment on the service rendered by the bank employees. It just doesn't fit to it. Banking has nothing to do with a fast food. The worst part of it - I just can't believe how in the world these senior management people of BPI have this in mind to implement such cheesy and out-of-point campaign?

  13. #153
question po. Ilang BPI direct save-up account kaya ang pwede per depositor?
Hope someone could answer. Thanks!

ganun na ngayon? as in may physical chime na sa branch nila?

agree, hindi bagay. they should have thought of other ways to know customer feedback.

  15. #155
^^ Hahaha. Yeah I noticed that too...

But I don't swipe the chime off. Email answers to my questions were sometimes rarely answered so it ticks a mark off of me.

Di lang yan, ang pinaka jologs sa lahat - when you ring their chime, all of them will shout "Thank you." Di ba, an cheap ng dating. Haha. I'm not kidding, try visit one of their branches for you to find out. I put a comment on their feedback form - the whole chime concept is extremely not appropriate in a bank.

  17. #157
    LOL. hahaha!

Haven't visited my favorite BPI branch in 2 weeks.

I think matu-turn off na ata ako sa favorite branch ko kung ganun. I'd rather see this implemented in a fastfood chain, but not in a bank.

  18. #158
iri-ring ko ang chime paulit ulit...hahaha
