    pwede po ba pa clarify naman yung sa TRB?

    I researched it and yung nakuha ko na definition is:
    Lahat daw ng demand deposits accounts would serve as TRB .
    Except sa mga Utang (like Credit Cards, Loans, Mortgage, etc).

    pero kasi walang specified na naka enumerate kung anu-ano yun.

    Bakit rin ako noong nag-ring ako ng chimes, wala lang paki doon sa isang branch, hehe (maliban sa guard, at nasabi ko rin ata dito na madaya pa ang guard nila dahil na ring din nya ang chimes habang palabas ako, hehe).

    Sungit talaga ata by nature ang mga tagarito sa amin.

    siguro kasama lahat ng investment products sa TRB?

    I think BPI Direct is a different bank from BPI and BPI-Family Savings Bank.

    I don't know if they consolidate all your deposits from other banks of BPI and treat it as TRB.

    Sana meron mag clarify nito... Calling BPI Employees...

    Oo nga eh, baka di bilangin yung sa BPI Direct. Siguro kung UITF, MF at SDA placements bibilangin pa siguro yun.

    But in the case of BPI Direct, I nominate a branch of convenience which could be a regular BPI or BPI Family Savings bank. Wala talaga silang brick and mortar bank. Doon lang sa branch na yun dadaan ang deposit ko sa kanila. Doon din dadaan lahat ng transactions na kailangan ko like enrolling bills, third party accounts, etc.

    What to do with a very rude and feelingerang BPI teller or whatever at nakaupo sya sa table for customer service? Is making a letter addressed to the bank head enough? Will they even bother to read it?

    Before writing anything, speak confidentially to the teller's supervisor (the assistant cashier), or to the branch marketing officer. Nadadala sa magandang usapan yan.

    Yes, as long you have funds invested in any of BPI's Investment funds and/or Current/Savings accounts that will aggregate to PHP250K and has been with that level for a very long time, you are eligible to be tagged sa preferred, but also, that is with the discretion of the relationship manager of your branch. Aside from maintaining such amount with the bank, it would be more advisable to have a short talk to your relationship manager once in a while so that he/she recognizes you.

    My advice to your query is to talk with the Assistant Manager or the Branch Manager about your bad experience with one of their staffs. Making a letter is also ok, but if you want faster response to your complaint/s, talk to the officers right away. You are the customer, and you have all the rights to voice out your complains.

    Thanks for your experience with BPI and your inputs as well.

    Another question I have is that...

    Isa lang ba yung account ng deposit mo?

    Let's say for example
    100k - Time Deposit
    100k - Investment in Odyssey
    50K - Savings

    Do you have only one account number for the settlement of these funds?

    Kasi based on my experience every time I would open they would say sir new account ulit yan.

    So in summary you would have 3 ATM? Is it possible that you only have one ATM (Preferred Status)?

    When I'm trying to open online, I am ask to choose which of my existing savings and checking accounts will act as the settlement account.

    Baka di alam ng branch ang procedure?

    Visit the bank to actually check kung active pa ang account na yun. Baka sakali. Kung active pa, then gamitin mo. I think you can do this with any BPI branch, in addition to the branch that your bank is using.

    If not, then you may have to open another bank account. It usually actually better to open a new one (it's free) than to activate an existing inactive/dormant account, where bank would charge you fees (by the hundreds) to activate the account.

    Based on your given example, you can have only one settlement account for that, for as long as the account is only under your name. Your savings account with P50K with it can be a settlement account for your Time Deposits and Odyssey investment. Another settlement account should be opened if so happens you want to open another investment under joint account.
