Kasama rin sa plano ni Judy Ann next year ang balikan at tapusin ang Culinary Arts course niya, kung saan two courses pa ang naiiwan. Wish din niyang matuloy ang Ouija 2 sa GMA Films.

"May kontrata ako na kung may Part 2 ang movie, gagawin namin. May option ang contract ko sa Star Cinema na puwede kong gawin ang Part 2 ng Ouija. Maliban dito, hindi ako puwedeng gumawa ng movie sa GMA Films. Hangga't hindi tapos ang five-picture contract ko for two years, hindi ako makakagawa ng movie outside Star Cinema," pagtatapos ni Judy Ann.

HINDI naisip ni Vincent del Rosario na sa pagbebenta nila ng distribution rights sa international arm ng TFC ng movie nilang co-produced by GMA-7 films ay mapi-pre-empt ang interntional premiere night ng ibang show producers for Ouija.

Ayon kay Vincent ay nagkasundo sila ng bumili ng rights na ilalabas lang ang DVD copy ng Ouija a week after the premiere night -- or on the night itself of the premiere showing.

Meron yatang may diperensya sa tenga kaya inilabas ang DVD copy ng Ouija several weeks bago ang premiere night. Kaya nakansela lahat ng binalak na premiere nights for Ouija sa US.

Hindi naman ito nakagawa ng damage for Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo dahil nakapag-charity shows pa ang dalawa sa halip na magmukmok na lang sa Amerika.

Nakatulong pa ang dalawa sa fund raising ng mga madre at pari sa San Francisco sa pamamagitan ni Sister Esperanza na tuwang-tuwa dahil sa malaking halaga na nalikom na pantulong sa maraming ulila sa mundo.

Ang malaking pasasalamat ni Sister Esperanza ay mapapanood ang footage sa Startalk this coming Saturday.

Dahil sa nangyaring mistulang sabotahe sa premiere nights ng Ouija sa Amerika ay sinabi naming hindi na gagawin ni Juday ang part 2 or sequel ng Ouija sa Amerika kung co-producer pa rin ng GMA Films ang Viva Films.

Naalarma yata ang magkapatid na Vincent at Veronique del Rosario kaya nagpatawag ng meeting sa office niya sina Vincent at Veronique sa pamamagitan ng kaibigan naming si Baby Gil.

Sa text ni Baby Gil ay sinabi niyang hindi na ibebenta sa una nilang pinagbentahan ang sequel ng Ouija kaya nagsadya na kami sa opisina ng Viva Films sa Tektite Building.

And in the photo here ay makikitang nagkasundo na kami ni Vincent sa isa pang movie na gagawin ni Juday under Viva Films.

We have worked with Vincent’s dad Boss Vic del Rosario when they were putting up Viva Films with their initial presentation, PS I Love You, second team-up of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion after their initial team-up for Sining Silangan’s Dear Heart.

So, maliwanag na wala pa si KC Concepcion at bubuuin pa lang nina Sharon at Gabby ay nanduon na kami sa tabi ni Sharon, hence ang matunog na tawag niya sa amin hanggang ngayon ng ‘Tatay’ -- the very first one na tumawag sa amin ng ganyan when everybody else was addressing me as ‘Tito Alfie,’ vice ‘Kuya Germs’ of German Moreno, Ike Lozada’s ‘Kuya Ike’ and Inday Badiday’s ‘Ate Luds.’

Nowadays, who looks more like ‘Tito Alfie’ and ‘Kuya Germs’ sa respective edad namin? Debah, parang binabastos pa si German when a boy as old as seven-year old John-john calls the master showman "Kuya Germs’?

I showed Vincent Juday’s 2008 calendar na puno na until April kaya nagkakamot ng ulo si Vincent kung kelan masisimulan ang gagawin ni Juday para sa kanila sa Viva Films.

Eh uunahin muna kasi nina Juday at Ryan ang napirmahan na nilang movie under Regal Films.

Meron pa ring OctoArts ni Boss Orly na naghihintay rin ng availability ni Juday.

Hindi pa nga tapos ni Juday ‘yung Kulam for Regal Films.

Sa Enero 2008 pagkatapos ng US premiere ng Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo ay se-segue naman sa taping ng bagong teleserye nina Juday at Derek Ramsay, pagkatapos niyon ay 20 days sa Palawan si Juday para sa Ploning na ididirek ni Dante ‘Ga’ Garcia Ramsay vda. de Pascual.

Then two more indie films ang nakaabang kay Juday, one for the Jesuits and another one for the Dominican sisters naman.

Limang bagong commercials pa ang nakaabang sa available dates ni Juday for TVC shoot.

Opo, inuulan at binabaha ng offers si Juday and this she attributes sa faith niya in the Lord God at sa mga dasal at pamisa ng Carmelite Sisters sa pangunguna ni Sister Agnes at ng Virgin of Manaoag, Pangasinan with Fr. Sonny Ramirez’ prayers, too.

This is one great example that if we give our full trust to the Lord everything will be fine and dandy.

Viva lines up big projects

VIVA Communications, Inc. or Viva Com (formerly Viva Entertainment, Inc.) is going full-blast this year with several big film projects lined up featuring some of the country’s biggest stars.

A multi-media conglomerate, Viva Com includes Viva Productions (which has two subsidiaries, Viva Films and Viva Concerts), the talent management arm Viva Artists Agency and Viva Video.

This year, the company is launching several big co-production ventures with Star Cinema and GMA Films, as well as movies that Viva Com is producing on its own through Viva Films.

All the films are slated for release in 2008, and that’s just for the first half of the year.

Currently in the production stage is "Ikaw Pa Rin," directed by Wenn Deramas. The movie is the first team-up of comedy concert queen Ai Ai delas Alas and Robin Padilla, and this early, it is already generating much buzz because of the reported torrid kissing scene between the two. The scene was said to have required all of 11 takes, and left Ai Ai breathless and sweaty and exclaiming, “Ngayon, alam ko na kung bakit maraming nahuhumaling na babae sa kanya!”

"Ikaw Pa Rin" will also be the launching film of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 housemate and Viva Artists Agency (VAA) talent, Riza Santos.

Another film project lined-up this year is Singles, a comedy to be directed by Jose Javier Reyes, who is fresh from the success of "Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo" and which will star Rufa Mae Quinto. The movie is a follow-up to the box-office hit "Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat," a co-production venture between Viva and Rufa Mae’s production outfit. It was also Viva Films which produced "Booba," her first starring role, directed by Joyce Bernal.

In the co-production venture department, Viva Films is already in production on "Waiting for Love," the much-anticipated first team-up of Aga Muhlach and Anne Curtis, to be directed again by Jose Javier Reyes.

The most excited about this project is Anne, who has long been wanting to do a film with Aga. “She’s wanted it since she started with us in Viva,” says her manager Veronique del Rosario-Corpus. “She’s so happy that she’s finally getting a chance to do it now.”

After "Waiting for Love," Viva and Star Cinema will work on an as-yet untitled romantic comedy featuring the tandem of John Lloyd Cruz and pop star Sarah Geronimo, to be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

The movie will reportedly begin shooting sometime in April. The film is much-awaited because it is Sarah’s launching movie and the one that, people are betting, will make her a “real” actress as opposed to the teenybopper roles she used to play.

Another movie to look forward to is "Love is Blind and Deaf," the first movie of Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid as sweethearts which Viva is co-producing with GMA Films. The movie, which is already in the pre-production stage, will be directed by Dominic Zapata.

This will be the next co-production venture for Viva and GMA Films after the critically-acclaimed "Ouija," which also set box-office records last year. Incidentally, a sequel of "Ouija" is in the works as well.

Viva is also scheduled to release an adult-themed movie, Torotot, which marks the return of Maui Taylor and the film debut of newcomer Precious Adona, a finalist in the recent Be Bench model search. The movie, which also stars Baron Geisler and Yul Servo, both fine actors, is directed by award-winning Maryo J. delos Reyes. It is Direk Maryo J’s next assignment after the critically-acclaimed "A Love Story" with Maricel Soriano, Angelica Panganiban and Aga Muhlach.

There are other film projects still in the pipeline, although Viva is keeping a tight lid on them so as not to spoil the surprise.

As much talked-about as these film projects is Viva Com’s plan to conduct an IPO, or initial public offering. In business terms, an IPO is the first sale of stock by a private company to the public and is regularly resorted to by companies around the world as a means of inviting investments and raising additional capital for expansion.

Viva’s initial offer period will be from February 20 to 27, and for the last few weeks, Viva artists have been going around the country to promote the IPO via roadshows and personal appearances.

Si Noel Ferrer ang nagbanggit na unang nagkasama sina Judy Ann at Dingdong sa I'm Sorry, My Love ng Regal at Akala Ko at Magkapatid ng Viva Films. Maganda raw kung horror movie naman ang gagawin ng dalawa.

Binanggit ng PEP kay Ms. Annette na pang-Halloween presentation din ng Regal ang Tarot na pagtatambalan nina Dennis at Marian. Tatapatan ba ng GMA Films ang Regal?

Balitang Richard Gutierrez pa rin, in-announce ni Raymond Gutierrez na nag-shoot ng teaser ng bago niyang pelikula ang actor kung saan makakasama niya ang isang big star.

Wala nang ibang binanggit na detalye si Raymond, pero may nag-confirm sa amin na Ouija 2 ang bagong pelikula ng actor sa GMA Films.

Naikuwento na ni GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar na kukunin niya si Richard para isama sa cast ng Ouija 2 at siya lang ang male lead.

Si Judy Ann Santos ang big star na sinasabing makakasama niya at join pa rin sa cast ng last horror movie pansamantala ni Direk Topel Lee sina Iza Calzado, Rhian Ramos at Jolina Magdangal.

Sa Holy Week daw ipalalabas ang teaser, ibig kayang sabihin, mapapaaga ang playdate nito at hindi na Halloween presentation ng GMA Films?
