tol you can try doing pinched harmonics. Isa siyang pwedeng paraan para mapaiyak yung gitara hehe. Here's the technique: yung paghawak mo sa pick parang medyo angled siya. Tapos pag magpi-pick ka na ng nota isasabay mo yung gilid ng thumb mo sa pick. As in sabay talaga para ma-produce yung high pitched sound. I-bend mo or vibrato mo para ma-sustain yung sound.

Ang isa pag paraan eh kung may Floyd Rose (floating) bridge yung gitara mo. Pag nag-harmonics ka itaas mo yung whammy bar para mahila slightly yung strings para tumaas yung pitch nung tunog. (di ko alam kung papaano i-explain hehe)

on both cases, you need ample amounts of heavy distortion to produce the desired effect.

I don't think na our weather will have an effect on the guitars and such. I have some friends who've owned Ibanez guitars (from Japan) and still, their guitars are intact
