Which wedding date is better?

Peeps, help please

My fiancee and I are torn between January 2 (Friday) and January 10 (Saturday), 2009. Here are our thoughts:

If we do it on January 2: Most of our "fly-in" visitors can attend because they will be in Manila for the Christmas and NY break anyway. However, since this is a weekday, although sandwitched between a holiday and a weekend, some local visitors might not be able to attend. Also, we're thinking maybe this date is too soon for the guests to "eat and be merry" again? Kakatapos lang nila mabondat sa Christmas and NY celebrations tapos di pa nagtatagal eh mabobondat na naman sila sa wedding namin

If we do it January 10: Family and friends from outside the Philippines will have to sacrifice a week just for our wedding. Most of them are supposed to go back on the first week of January kasi. Parang nakakahiya naman i-request na i-extend ang leave nila from work.

y not January 06, 2009, since its in between jan02 and jan10, and besides if ul do it on january 6, your visitor just got into rest from holidays then maybe they can just extend their vacation hir for a day or two hindi na 1 week mas lalong walang hassle dba?
