i've been hearing that ok daw sa gym na to compared to fitness first and golds, because of the cheaper price. kindly share your experiences, current rates, etc. I would like to receive people's comments before I make a decision on where to enroll.

If it's close to you and has decent equipment, go there, especially if it's cheaper.

There is nothing special about Gold's or Fitness First that Brickroad doesn't have based on the feedback that I get.

yes its near to me. but there is also a fitness first gym in robinsons metro east which is just in front of sta lucia where brickroad is located. so please share your experiences.

What exactly are you looking for in a gym to begin with? If you're looking fro good instruction, then fitness first is definitely not for you

i'm actually convinced not to enroll in fitness first unless this other gym is really bad.

Brickroad is ok...but obviously it depends on what you want. Each gym has its strengths and weaknesses, mostly by design based on what its members want.

Fitness First is mainly for group exercise in dance studios.

Eclipse is for strength training, fat loss, and MMA.

Golds...well I'm not sure what they focus on anymore...

oh hindi mo pa na kuha yung gusto ng 2...kahit andyan ka sa Sta Lucia..mag enroll ka daw sa gym nila....kahit asa shaw blvd...bale wala daw yang trapik na yan..and it will take you 3 hours to get there from your place....

I can compare since I know the industry and I've seen gyms from around the world. Maybe you'll understand it if I say it in a couple of other languages that I've picked up over the years:

Eclipse tiene igual o mejor equipo en comparación con su competencia.

or perhaps you prefer another way:

Eclipse est égal ou supérieur équipement par rapport à ses concurrents.

I do my workout at brickroad fitness gym,they've got nice facilities.there's steamed bath,sauna,spa,canteen,dance studio,and they even have internet access.. equipments are also in good condition and types they also have a second floor where you can do cardio and there's also a boxing ring situated on the same floor
the trainers are great and the rates are affordable..
membership fee 1500 lifetime, 1,750 per month or (5,250 for 3 months plus free 1 month..) if they have a promo =)

I was able to avail a student promo here more than 3 years ago (6k for 6 months), back when I was still studying in the Katipunan area. I love the place, has a "homy" feel. Sometimes after school i even get to sleep in one of the couches in the 3rd floor. But now I work in Ortigas so when it comes down to it, location is the primary consideration.

If you're within close proximity, Brickroad fitness is worth it
