My instructions naman to avoid possible injuries, like yung pag hulog mo sa board, you need to go opposite sa board, para pag hampas nang alon, hindi sa muka mo tatama.

but still,we can't avoid possibilities of injuries 100%. Basta enjoy at ingat-ingat na din.

    worst injuries:

    getting crashed on the reefs/rocks
getting hit by the board or fins either yours or someone else... ouch

worst case drowning, getting towed in by the current... my tip; don't panic! Wave to the other surfers when in distress, a lot will help

nice!! i suggest since alam mo na yung feeling pag nakuha mo yung alon, practice your paddling na. mahirap sa una pero you'll get better with practice kung di ka pa confident, pwede rin mag instructor ka parin pero mag practice ka na rin ng paddling nun. you can also practice sa CME!

nearest is in taytay, yung wavepool ng CME. maganda siya kasi consistent yung waves and makakapag practice ka talaga. nearest beach is either real or zambales

active ka ba dun sa mountain climbing thread? naghhike din kasi ako eh hahaha. naghahanap ako ng dayhike this weel :P

yung ordinary bus is around 500, pag joybus, around 600 yung pamasahe, both for one way. maraming pwedeng pag-stayan sa baler na mura, yung fan rooms lang. usually pag ganun nasa 400/room/night, good for 2-3 persons. try kahea lodge kung gusto mo ng beachfront pero mura.

Sa tingin nyo magkano ang magagastos lahat lahat kung beginner ako and kelangan ko ng trainer. Mejo mabilis lang naman ako matuto sa ganito like sa wakeboarding.. so siguro i dont need a lot of time with a trainer.

Also, for a beginner, mga ilang days dapat ako mag-stay?

one more thing.... I don't know how to swim. Bawal ba sa kin ang surfing?

hindi ako marunong mag treading/float pero i surf. hahaha.

how many days? it depends. it's a lifelong process pero yung basics kung di ka nakatira sa dagat matagal talaga. for me, the first things you should learn is yung paddle and when to pop-up. kelangan mo makuha yung feeling na nahuli mo na yung alon. depende sa tao yun kung gano katagal.

Well I think makukuha ko naman sya agad kasi based sa wakeboarding, nung first time ko, nakatayo ako agad on 3rd try. Well inaassume ko same technique sila ng surfing.. or baka magkaiba rin. Pero since may interest naman ako sa ganung activities, malaki possibility na sa first 1 or 2 hours nung training makuha ko na agad then self-study na lang after. And dahil hindi malaki ang alloted budget ko for this, baka ma-force din ako na matututo agad or at least learn on my own after 1 or 2 hours with a trainer. Ang problem ko lang is yung swimming part. Di talaga ako marunong lumangoy and mabilis ako magpanic sa tubig kapag di ko na abot yung floor
