Interesting. I want to learn how to surf. Does it really take so much time to learn how to surf.

I was born, raised and bred in Manila where there are no beaches to learn how to surf.

I was born, raised and bred in Manila where there are no beaches to learn how to surf.

hey! manila-based din ako. it takes time if you want to be really really good. lalo na kung taga manila tapos once a month lang nakakapag surf. nearest are in real and zambales. you can also go to baler and LU pero i suggest spend at least 3 days para sulit yung trip.

yng first ride mo, pag nakuha mo y *** feeling, hahanap hanapin mo na yun haha.

easiest is to invite friends tapos DIY nalang. pero if you're the type who likes the party crowd, you can go to surf events, usually package siya and may free surf lessons na yun

Fast forward to the 7th Odyssey Waves National Surfing Competition that was held last week at Guiuan, Eastern Samar from October 6-9, 2011.

For those unfamiliar where Guiuan, Eastern Samar is located click http://g.co/maps/6be3s The nearest major commercial airport is located in Tacloban City on Leyte Island. Travel distance from the airport to the surf site is 175km of which 170km is paved concrete roads. Guiuan has its own airport that would cut down road travel to 20km.

I have yet to visit other surf sites but the highlights of this place are the beautiful rock formation to the north, sandy white beaches and very few people living on the beach. Making this your private surf site.

pwede kang sumali sa mga surf trips organized by some comapnies like travel factor and surfista philippines. kung DIY, take a bus to san felipe, zambales, then ride a trike to "the pier". yo can also search kung san yung THE PARK sa may real to get lessons from PSA coaches
