Stop giving out our email to Spammer

Please don't sell/give our email address to your sponsor.

I just got an email from unbreakablebabes.com regarding "UNO Fashion Series: SEE and BE SEEN at Piedra on OCT 19" which I consider spam.

Under the ads, it says:

Dislaimer: You have received this e-mail because you subscribed to PinoyExchange.com or Unbreakababes.com. If you would no longer wish to receive updates from us, please send an e-mail with the subject UNSUBSCRIBE" to info@unbreakababes.com.

I sent an email to unsubscribe but here's what i got:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es)
failed:

info@unbreakababes.com
mailbox is full: retry timeout exceeded

Again, please don't sell/give our email address to your sponsor. Spam sucks and i'm suprised PEX would give out our email address to those spammers.

I suggest you follow the Agreement and send an email message to the address indicated, instead of starting this thread.

Sure, i'll do that.

I just find it ironic that PEX can't even comply with its own agreement while it expects us to follow it.

wow! you got nerves using pex for free, then complaining for it's service. Just delete spam, it's that simple. it's not that big of a deal.

So since their service is free they can do anything they want? Even break their own privacy policy?

I'm not complaining about their service. It's my understanding that when I signed up with PEX, i can read/post in the forums but not getting my email to be given away to sponsors / ads / spammers.

Heck, I even tried unsubscribing before making this thread but the mail just bounced and deleting the email doesn't stop them from sending more in the future.

So yeah, its a big deal cause it sucks when my email is being given away to people/company/sponsors that sends spam while I try hard to minimize spam on my inbox.

Well, it's safer to give out fake e-mails when subscribing to these types of websites or forums. They don't really ask your personal e-mail, you can just give any. Just sign up for a free yahoo mail, it takes a minute to do that.

Anyway, I don't want to argue any further. I just thought that this complain is unnecessary. But my bad! Maybe it is indeed worth discussing, so I am sorry.

To Witty:

Do you still have a copy of that spam message? Is it easy for you to post it here? I am subscribed to all the PEx mailings and I haven't gotten anything like that, so it might be possible your address was sourced elsewhere.

for all the people who feel left out.. send me your email address.. i'll forward them to you.

Seriously, are moderators in here to help out, explain the issue and fix it or just ignore the problem, pretend nothing wrong happened and just make fun of it?

Might as well delete the agreement since even you guys can't comply with it.

/sigh
