I do not know if pwede sya sa pregnant and breastfeeding mommies. Ill just send you a PM. The Derma should help you better on this.

E me liquid like toner and facial scrub kaya will have to inquire pa if that will be allowed if sent by courier. Kaya hassle. Kaya nga pag nagwork sya sa skin ko, paguwi ko sa Dec e kahit yun na lang skinwise ang laman ng maleta ko pabalik. hehehe...

By the way, I asked my friend, she doesn't remember na daw how many Medlite Laser sessions she had before she started seeing improvement. Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful. Though she's still having the sessions, kasi parang 4-6 weeks ang interval. Sabi nga nya, masakit sa bulsa pero kagandahan naman sya...hehehehe....

I was actually inquiring about the Medlite Laser treatment procedure (on how will it go once you undergo the session). Sorry but the Skinwise product is off-topic.

    Thanks

Will fraxel or pixel work for leg scars that are "old"? I was told that IPL can do the job but up to what extent will it lessen the angry appearance of my scars?

Hope you guys can give out some advice... Thanks! =)

  5. #45
I don't know if IPL can actually lessen leg scars. What I know is that it can rejuvinate the skin.

I suppose that if Pixel can correct acne scars and wrikles, it can also help out on leg scars.

I don't know about fraxel though.

I'm deciding which one to get for sembreak,, between pixel or another co2. I'm thinkin of trying out Pixel at Makati med.. or go get another co2 session. I'm stilll thinkin.. Parang i was expecting more sa CO2 that I underwent eh. i dunno yet......wahhh

^^ Hey. i expected the same on my 1st week after I had the CO2. Wait for about 4 more weeks, the healing period is actually for 1 month. I have noticed improvements on my skin after about a month.

I will undergo pixed this Saturday. Fingers crossed.

^^ Hi, i am not sure about ice pick scars.. Pero Fractional Co2 can probably help make it unnotice-able but not completely correct it. In my case, the small scars were made firm by the fractional Co2. I am undergoing subcision for the bigger and ice pick scars.. Maybe you need to consult a dermatologist so she can prescribe the best treatment for you.

hi dickies69! I called up the clinic you referred. I was told that they dont have the fractional CO2 right now coz the equipment, which was just a sample equipment, was returned to the supplier. they already purchased one, but the unit is yet to be delivered to them.

the secretary offered me fractional RF, in lieu of the fractional CO2. I asked her what RF means, she said she doesnt know what the letters stand for, but said it is similar to pixel and fraxel. i'll be visiting the clinic soon so I can be assesed by the dermatologist.

I just had my first session of fractional CO2 (FCO2) this afternoon. I received a call from the clinic's secretary last wednesday informing me that there's an FCO2 machine available this saturday, promo price of P6k/session.

I found the procedure very very painful, even with topical anaesthesia. Parang napaso ng plantsa yung buong face ko. Sobrang obvious coz I have fair complexion. I cannot take days off from work so I hope the redness and swelling will subside in two days with the help of antibiotics. I will give you guys an update in about a week

I wonder lang why they didnt give me any receipt of payment , sa mga previous experience ko kasi with other clinics and hospitals, i was always issued a receipt for every procedure done on me.

And by the way, it's BH Medical Group, not to be confused with the controversial BH6750 (which david bunevacz and wife jessica used to co-own).

Fractional CO2 is indeed painful. I dont think your face swelling will subside in 2 days. Mine actually subsided on the 6th/7th day. But then again, it is all worth it..

Hmm.. About the receipt, I actually realized that they didn't issue me receipt on the fractional CO2 procedure. They don't miss out giving me receipts for my Pixel but I guess since fractional CO2 is still in the trial period, maybe that's the reason. ANyhow, have you asked the doctor about it?

Dont forget to apply moisturizer every time. The skin tends to become ultra dry a few days after. Wish you all the best!

Hehehe. you are right. Out of kawang-gawa kaya ako nag rerefer kay Dra (and effective naman kasi yung fractional CO2 sa akin that is why I am sharing). Sana bigyan na lang nya ako ng discount. yung 6k na promo nya kahit 5,800 na lang. :P

When are you undegoing subcision? Baka ako by next week. I still have about 7 deep scars (talagang nabilang ko yan). hehehe. The laser treatment toned the color and made it a bit shallow but my hopes are high that subcision will do the trick for these deep ones.

@bumblemuffin- how is the healing of your face?[/QUOTE]

the redness is gone after 3days. my face is now pinkish na lang, like im wearing blush on. im happy with the result. for me it was a success. i plan to have another one before christmas. but because my scars are very severe, it requires more session of FCO2. i plan to do it alternately with pixel. im just wondering why my face peeled only once, on the 2nd day lang. and by the looks of it, parang hindi na mag p-peel ulit. the doctor also suggested subcision. im also considering it. thanks for the referral dickies! youre heaven sent. : )

oh by the way, do they also have pixel there? the attending nurse seemed unfamiliar with it. gusto ko kasi si doc pa rin coz she's really nice, and parang hindi tinitipid/binibilang yung daan ng light (laser).

Pixel is also available in Godiva Skin Station Bel-Air branch. If they have B1T1 promo, grab it.

@bumblemuffin- Nice. I am about to undergo subcision next week. Hope it will clear out the very deep scars. In addition, the Pixel machine is on another hospital where she also holds her clinic (it is in Capitol Hospital in Quezon Ave). I just had my pixel there last month.

Im looking forward to another fractional CO2 in December as well right in time for the long break. I can't afford to have downtime for 7 days again these days.
