upd ako. pero ni isang beses eh hindi ko man lang naisip na ikumpara ang upd at uplb at sabihin kung sino ang mas magaling, as if naman nakikipagkumpetensyahan yung dalawa. bakit ba kelangan natin i pit to each other ang upd at uplb?!!

hindi ba tayo masaya at ang lahat ng up campuses eh may part na naiicontribute para isulong at iimprove pa lalo ang UP system?!

kaya tigilan na nga yan! mag-aral na lang tayo!weeeeeee!

Ito ang mga tanong na masarap sagutin.. Di mo alam kung trip paglaruan ang Ingles o sadyang wala lang point of query.. Hehe, joke lang. Gets naman.

Anyways, kung i-ko-compare, ang UPD, ay generally more popular kesa sa UPLB.. Ito actually ang first consideration ng most local & foreign (Koreans ) applicants.. Saka the fact na flagship campus ng system ang UPD means ito ang pinakapopular among the 7 units, right?

Pero sikat din naman ang UPLB.. As in the posts previous, kanya-kanya ring banner ang bawat campus.. In LB's case, agriculture-related programs and institutions. So lahat naman, may assets for popularity. Lahat may kanya-kanyang maipagmamalaki.

And diversity should not cause divisiveness among the campuses. Instead, dapat magconverge lahat sa academic initiatives & endeavors para lalong gumaling. After all, we're just one system. We're UP. (and they're the "others" . Hehe, kidding! ) We're one UP.

was from uplb and was doing really great in my acads.. transferred to upd coz they say its the best campus.. how true.. proof? i failed most of my classes.. i just wasnt built for their pace.. and so were my other friends who transferred.. now, im a drop out.. pity me..

wag niyo na pag-awayin. pareho lang talaga.

it depends din sa course mo. if agriculture, forestry, etc edi sa UPLB ka. kanya-kanyang specialty lang yan. enjoy na lang tayo.

Tingin ko, maganda rin naman na naging topic ang UPD or UPLB. May competition talaga, pero hindi naman para mag-away ang mga taga LB at Diliman, wala namang personalan dun. Maganda rin naman minsan na may competition, driving force din yun para mag-improve pa lalo ang bawat campus. SINO PA BANG MAKAKALABAN NG MAGALING KUNDI KAPWA MAGALING? Hahaha!

Maraming high school classmates ko na nag-aaral sa UPLB at other campuses na mas mahirap daw ang Math 17 sa ibang campus kesa sa UPD. Can somebody tell me why?

COuld it probably be
1. Other campuses are trying to PROVE something?
2. UPD students are just brighter?
3. UPD is becoming incompetent?

sa pilipinas, mas sikat talaga ang upd. pero sa ibang bansa, sikat ang elbi. bias yata ako. halimbawa, sabi ng isang classmate ko na thai, kaya daw *** ng phD sa elbi ay dahil sa elbi lang ang nag-offer ng phD sa forestry. un ang sabi nya.

in terms of quality in education, i think both campuses ties in this category. it is UP after all. pare-pareho tayo ng pinangalingan. we should be proud of each UP student, wherever part of the system they came from.

pagdating naman sa extra curricular, sa surroundings at lalo na sa pagiging "ok" ng mga tao, hindi na natin dapat pag usapan pa yon, lalo na *** huli kong nabanggit. it is too subjective and prone to biases.

we should all be proud, the UP system is not diliman alone, nor is it LB. It is every UP campus. there is no point to the question, upd or uplb.

i am very proud that i come from diliman and equally proud of my bestfriend who comes from los banos.

i think UPLB is more popular than UPD outside of the philippines but the UPD students are smarter. than UPLB students.
