just continue the kapampangan hating everyone.

I personally know King Neroj and isa sya sa kapampangan na masabi kong maayos makisama. No questions asked about that...

And he only proved my grandfather's thoughts about kabalens was wrong.... Mabuhay ka King Neroj

Sociological and anthropological point of view:

"in saying Kapampangans are "mayabang," many Filipinos might
not realize that, in the Asian contest at least, the Malay as
a whole is considered such. It may be that the characteristic
of mayabang has something to do with the boldness the Malay
    needed on the sea."

"The requirement of boldness for survival may help explain why Malays are mayabang, and why when some Filipinos describe Kapampangans as mayabang they are simply taking jabs at characteristics they also share. And they are traits that are there for good reasons, specifically: the need to survive."

"When discussing national or ethnic characteristics, how do
we separate these from stereotypes? In my view, a stereotype
is a formula which states that since you belong to this group
you must have these characteristics. Usually these are negative
characteristics, but sometimes they can also be positive. National or ethnic characteristics are traits which for reason
of culture, custom, history or whatever or easily noticed as
common among a particular group. For example, Kapampangans are
generally thought of a good cooks. Most of us would agree, I
think, that this is a true observation. However, one would
be guilty of stereotyping if one assumed that every Kapampangan
    can cook."

    up on the rooftop
funny thread. i'd like to share my observations about kapampangans:

bulakenyong malakas magsalita, bulakenyong malumanay mag kuwento.

  17. #255
that's so true. wala pa kong nakitang Pinoy na born and raised in Pampanga/Tarlac na hindi sosyal at sa totoo lang hindi yung kasosyalan ang kapansin-pansin. subtlety is something we're not very good at

@wesker...ingat ka lang sa pananalita mo. You have seen our culture yet and haven't visited our place. Why not come here on Feb. on a hot air balloon, holy week good friday, december's christmas lantern parade.

I am kapampangan born and raised man but studied and attended in a Manila university.

I am atypical Kapampangan one who sometimes wears branded clothes or whatever but I still prefer wear clothes that suit me and comfortable and presentable to wear in an event or occassion.

I don't carry much money on my wallet because there are too many pickpockets somewhere in Metro Manila and I am very cautious person. Never liked being a show off to others.

I never like wearing jewelry except for a seiko watch dad gave me on my high school graduation.

oh by by the way, i only voted GMA once against FPJ in 2004 elections. I chose lesser evil because of the political circus happening in this country.

I am NOT an avid supporter of CWGMA and tell you frankly, GMA is not a pure kapampangan, her mother Dra. Eva Macapagal, M.D. is from Visayas region just to make the facts straight!

You may think all kapampangan are sosyaleros or sosyaleras. not all of us are.

Just to make facts again, most of the wealthy business people or the old rich type person are from Pampanga (they don't showoff that much) unlike those guys you see on TV who live in Ayala Alabang, Forbes, Dasma, greenhills etc.

I studied the markets in one case study i presented years ago on real property investments is that Pampanga buyers are second to Metro Manila buyers on residential condominiums.

We may spend our hard earned money on something that is tangible and that makes money? Have you done that lately?
